Yes, the end of the book! This chapter I think is the longest. I must say, I've had fun writing this. It's definitely improved my writing skill (I'm not kidding. Everytime I look back on the first few chapters I just feel HUMILIATED). Thank you to all 20 of my fans, just for taking the time to vote, read, comment, and fan me. That means so much!

I've made a video for the tributes it the book, inspired by @TheDreamingGirl13 (: The song is Disenchanted by My Chemical Romance. I chose the song because most of the lyrics remind me of the Hunger Games and the Capitol (Remember, I said MOST not ALL!!:D) I've begun writing the sequel, called Healing Scars, so be sure to read it!

Enjoy! ~Kaitlyn

When I woke up, I was wearing a checkered gown and was lying on a metal table. The walls and floors of the room were chrome, just like the Launch Room. I didn't feel dirty anymore, and when I touched my hair, I found it silky and brushed into a braid.

I sat up from the table and looked around. At first, I didn't see anyone, then I heard a familiar voice.

"Annabelle?"

I twisted my head to the voice and nearly screamed.

"Ash!" I called, trying to get off the table. He rushed over and placed his hands on my chest.

"Don't get up yet. You're still healing. You're supposed to sleep."

"Well, give me some answers first! Where's Adrian? Why isn't he here? And where have you been? Are Galen, Sage, and Berkeley here too?"

Ash sighed and sat in a chair next to the table. "I have a lot of explaining to do. First of all, Galen, Sage, and Berkeley are here. They're staying at the apartments. We've been at the Capitol the whole time watching you in the Games."

"What about Adrian?" I asked him.

He looked depressed. "Do you remember your stylist, Mina?"

Of course I did. How could I forget? "Yes." I told him.

"Did you know about the things she was doing?"

". . .Yes."

"Well, Adrian suspected her of doing something. Near the end of the Games, he overheard a Capitol citizen talking about an accident in District 9. Apparently, a grain factory blew up. He watched the footage that was captured and he saw Mina and her friend leaving the scene. It confirmed his suspicions. He got recruits in all districts so they can stop the both of them. Adrian left to one of the bases before you won the Games. And I have to admit it, Annabelle, you were right."

"Right about what?" I asked.

"The base that Adrian went to is in District 13. You were right; District 13 was never destroyed."

"When is he coming back? Will he back in time for the Victory Tour?"

"I can't give you an answer to that. There's a lot of work to be done. They need to stall Mina and anyone else that could be part of her plan before something bad really happens. Until then, you'll return to District 7 and do the Victory Tour, then we'll see from there."

At that moment, a doctor walked in.

"Hello, Miss Adler. I see you've woken up. I'll give you some more medication, then all you have to do is sleep. As for you, Mr. Adler, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Ash stood up from the chair and gave me a one armed hug. "I'll see you at the interviews."

"Bye." I said.
