Three months later;

Honestly, Chaeyoung is a little nervous. She tries to suppress it by concentrating on what Jennie is saying but still checks her phone every fifteen seconds, just in case Lisa calls and Chaeyoung is too busy worrying and doesn't hear it.

But Lisa hasn't called and the appointment was supposed to be over an hour ago.

Lisa's back pain has become unbearable in the last few weeks, so much so that she actually agreed on going to an actual physiotherapist to help her. It was Chaeyoung's idea, or more like request, because she really did think that it was because of her that Lisa's pain was getting worse. Chaeyoung thought that it was because of her that the exercises they were doing together weren't working. Or that they were making things worse.
So, Lisa agreed to go to the physiotherapist only and because of that, to prove Chaeyoung wrong.

And she did prove her wrong, because it still hurts, even though she's been to physiotherapy a lot of times by now.

So now, Chaeyoung is waiting for Lisa to call, like always, and tell her how it went. She's actually a little mad at herself, this is one of the things she doesn't like about keeping their relationship a secret. If they didn't, she would be there too, she wouldn't be just Lisa's friend in Minzy's eyes, who insists on going to physiotherapy with Lisa every time. Chaeyoung doesn't blame her, she would worry too, if it was her daughter.

She's just mad. Mad because there isn't even an excuse for not going to work just to go to physiotherapy with Lisa and sound legit and not suspicious at all. She's almost blurted it out once, but then she remembered that Minzy is Lisa's mom, and that she's not alone in this relationship. Besides, she thinks that, as the time goes and Lisa continues being in pain, she turns to her mother for comfort more and more. Chaeyoung understands that too, and doesn't say anything.

So, here she is, bouncing her leg up and down nervously, throwing glances at her phone every once in a while, and just waits.

"When are we gonna find a name for the studio, Rosé?" Jennie asks, making Chaeyoung finally place her phone on the desk next to the console and give her friend her full attention. "It's really important."

"Yeah, I know..." It was Jennie that first brought it up, the idea of opening their own recording studio, over a year ago. But Chaeyoung wasn't up for it, although Jennie was very convincing. They produce sound, it's what they do, and they know people. It's a risk but it can be successful if Chaeyoung is as much into it as she is.

She didn't tell her that she was until recently though. It felt like coming out, even though Jennie already knew that she was too into music, when she shared that same interest with her.

So, a few months ago, they started implementing the idea, rented the place, and spent time and money to build their studio. The hardest task for Chaeyoung though, is to keep it a secret from Lisa.

"If you would just let me tell Lisa, she knows people, she can help with the marketing part."

"No. If you tell Lisa then you have to tell Jisoo too, because if you don't then she will be mad and jealous, and I don't want her to be mad and jealous. And I don't want her to know because she's gonna want to help, both financially and with the legal stuff. It's just the two of us in this."

"But can I just ask how we're gonna keep it a secret. forever?"
Chaeyoung rolls her eyes, she's being sarcastic but Jennie can be so stubborn sometimes.

"Wait until the studio is finished, ok?" Jennie frowns at her but all thoughts of the recording studio leave Chaeyoung's mind when her phone goes off and sees that it's Lisa calling her. She immediately jumps up as she takes her phone and turns to leave the control room.
