The heart keeps you alive, if it stops you disappear from the human eye with only your body to remain. It holds all the people and things you care about. It can destroy you. It can help you. But most of all it can control you.
Love is what controls every other emotion. It can make you sad, it can make you mad, it can make you happy. It can make you do anything. The reason the Heart symbolizes love is probably because you can't live with out it.
Blood. People spill the blood of others so that the ones they love can live. People risk everything for the people they love. They give everything they have to the people they love. And sometimes no matter how much they give the other person is never satisfied and they keep taking and taking until the giver is broken and empty and has nothing left to give but their love and affection. Sometimes that's not good enough for the takers so they leave because they were never in love, they never cared for the giver, they never needed the giver the way the giver felt they needed them. They only wanted, they were selfish.
In life you must learn that although you may be a broken giver or a remorseful taker you can choose to make different decisions, you can choose to make better or even worse decisions. You can choose to change your fate or you can choose to allow your heart, your feelings to take over your life and keep leading you down the path of pain and sadness. You can't blame others for your pain because you chose to let your heart make every decision, you chose to allow your emotions cloud your judgment, you chose to make the same decisions. You may have not chosen to fall in love with a taker or to be a giver and no it's not easy to make beneficial decisions for yourself when your in love, but you have the power within yourself to do so and so does everyone else in the world.
Love is difficult, love is frustrating, the heart is confusing, the heart is powerful, but life goes on. You can't choose love but you can choose to control how you love and how much heart you use in your decisions .
