"Y/n!" Your eyes fluttered open when you hear your name, but they don't stay open long. Your head rings and your body throbs.
"Y/n!" Another attempt at coming to at the sound of his voice, leaving you squinting at a gross ceiling above you.
"Y/n!" You turn your head slowly, trying to find out where you are. You look from side to side, your neck pulsing with the movement. Your body is sprawled on a cold cement floor, the dirt and dust around you completing the "rustic" look of the cell you were evidently locked in.
"Dean?" You try to call out. But you realize he wasn't calling out to you in person. You lifted your head to look at your hand, seeing your Nokia cell phone open and on-call. You tried to lift your arm, but a fiery pain shoots down the limb. You turn to see your arm dislocated from your shoulder. You bite your lip and reach over your body to take the phone from your other hand. You bring the phone to your ear and your breath hitches.
"Dean?" You say again.
"Y/n, are you ok?" You inhale shakily, tears already streaming down your dirty face to the floor.
"Dean, I don't know where I am. All I remember is seeing something move from across the basement."
"Y/n, that was the shape-shifter. You have to get out of there."
"I don't think I can, Dean," you sit up and look down your legs, eyeing your bloodied, sideways foot, "I'm beat up pretty bad."
"Don't panic. Sammy and I will find you. I promise." You nod into the phone and hold a sob from escaping your lips.
"Dean, I'm scared."
"Don't worry. I'm gonna find you."
"Don't- don't end the call. I don't want to be alone."
"I won't leave you alone. But what I can't wrap my head around is why he didn't take your phone."
"Me neither. It was in my hand the whole-" Your eyes widened and your heart skipped a beat.
"Dean, where's Sam?"
"He's checking upstairs, why?"
"He left my phone on so you wouldn't hear Sam's call when he took him. Don't trust him. I was just a distraction."
"Oh my god, y/n. I can't find him. Sammy! Sam!"
"Dean do not look for him yet. He could be the shape shifter."
"Y/n? I can't- you're-" the call was starting to drop out, static filling the gaps over important information.
"Dean?" The phone finally ended, a monotone ringing singing clearly on the open line.
"Dean!" You shouted in the empty room, doing no good to your cause.
"Dean!"~R
