↬This short story has been great fun to write for the @mystery community's halloween contest.
I'm aware that the story 'concluded' in a dark & cliffhanger way but that's what I chose to do at that time. It is up to you on how you wished to have seen Melinda and her brother's end.
- Melinda along with little brother,Cody manage to get out of the torture house #ESCAPED.
Or
- Melinda and Cody are stuck forever in the torture house with no way out #TRAPPED
the latter option is a much darker conclusion which I think fitted since it is a horror story and happy endings don't necessarily exist + It's a chance for a possible sequel if I come up with one.
