"You don't understand" you shouted "I can't fight"
"Oh yes you can, that performance was amazing!"
"No Zalgo, seriously I can't. How the hell can I hide this big ass jewel from the public?!"
"Magic of course" Zalgo chuckles
"Fine but I better be getting better pay"
you quickly covered your mouth regretting the words you chose. Did I just say that?! Me? A human just demanded more money from a fucking demon!? You thought.
"Well if that's what it takes for you to willingly come here every day or so" he sighs and goes on his computer and types "then so be it"
"Sorry" you whimper
"No no no I see why you want it, you want a better home huh?"
"Well I um"
"Its alright now go I have work to do"
You nod and leave. I'm digging my grave you think as you pass by a few fans. You walk into the room where the willing fighters relax and wait at. You go to the vending machine and grab a bottle of water.
"Down the hatch" you mumble as you get ready to drink the water
You see a mirror and see your reflection. You see the gem is glowing with soft dim colors. You see a yellow swirling inside of the gem.
"What?" you say
The gem's color changes direction and swirls a different way and changes to purple.
"Well this is....trippy?"
Your mind wanders and you think of how familiar Ticci Toby's eyes were. You notice in the mirror that the color has changed once more. Its a bright pink. You get the feeling it a mood ring of a sort and think no I'm not in love no no no you think as your eyes widen pink could mean other things it doesn't mean I'm in love! As you think this the gem goes to a rainbow color. The colors are now chaotic. You calm down and the color goes to a white.
You come back to the willing fighter's room. There at the fourth table is Toby and Jane. They have a rag of shattered glass. It looks like those are the broken pieces of his goggles. You approached them first with silence. They exchange glances and you nervously scratch the back of your head.
"Sorry about your lens"
"I-i-its fin-fine" he head ticks to the left
"May I?"
"Uh sure?"
You hold out your hand and the shattered glass floats. They magically find their way back to their original places. Unfortunately there is still a few cracks in each lens.
"Go get it finished by a professional and it should be good as new"
They nod leave their seats and it looks like they're leaving the place. You end up sitting at a table and you sigh. There are the two employees that took Ben out. Oddly enough they still have him. They are talking to Laughing Jack. He doesn't seem too happy.
"You're an idiot!" he slaps Bens face and he wakes up
"Wha huh?"
"You're so damn stupid! You got yourself banned!"
"I did?" he asked in shock
"You nearly killed Zalgo's employee!"
"Its not my fault she got herself into the fight!"
"Well because of your action I'm banned for a week for being your fighting partner!" Jack yells
"What?!"
"Apparently I'm supposed to keep you in check but I failed to do so!"
Laughing Jack growled and sees you. His eyes rage with hate and fury. Ben questionably looks at what has gotten him so angry and his eyes meet yours.
"YOU!" Ben yells a smirk grows on Ben's face while Laughing Jack's toothy grin widens. Ben elbows the two employees in the gut and brakes free from their grasp. Two killers are now rushing at you with all they got. Can I just have a normal shift for once? You think
