"Come on I think you want to rest after that"
You nod without showing your face. Toby laughs kneeling down.
"Are you really that embarrassed?" He smirks
"So what if I am!" You growl
"Aw come here" he holds out his hands
You uncover your eyes and put your hands in his. He takes your hand and pulls you up with a swift pull. With his hand in yours he walks you to the side of the bed.
"I know things have been moving quickly but I want you to know I uh " he clears his throat "I'm uh h-here for you and all that stuff"
"Thanks" you quietly say
"Well I-Im going to go now" be starts to walk but you grab his hand
"Please don't go" you can't even look him in the face "I don't wanna be alone
"O-oh" Toby blushes
"I just" you left go "with everything going on I can't even take a breath without worrying about the consequences"
"Well I can't really say you should feel safe in a place like this"
"Heh yeah..." You sit on the edge of the bed "but I'll cope"
"How?" Toby takes a seat on the bed as well
"I dunno I'll manage somehow"
You move over to the pillow and pat the spot next to you. Your brain screams at how brave you are for making such a move. Toby sits next to you worried about how you'll cope. You yawn and seconds later Toby Yawns as well. You snicker and he laughs.
"You passed yawn" he says
"Yeah I guess I did" you sass his
"Okay rude" he responds
You lean on his shoulder and after running it through his head Toby wraps his arm around you. Sleep takes the both of you and you drift off.
"Oh my god" a voice snickers
"Shh you'll wake them up" another scolds
"You think they did it?"
"Heh I don't think Toby has the balls"
"You two shut up"
"Yeah leave them alone"
You move your head around a little.
"See look!" Someone whispers "she's waking up"
"Okay okay I'll go just after I do this!"
"Hey, ow!"
"You don't have to push!"
You hear the click of a camera and someone running away with a laugh.
"Ugh I'll take care of this one"
"Okay"
You open your eyes for a little and see the door being shut carefully. Your eyes feel heavy but you rise up and rub your eyes. You hear a someone else waking up. You look in front of you and see Toby. It's far too early to realise you should be blushing and you yawn.
"Holy f-fuck" he speaks with a raspy morning voice
"Hm?" You tilt you bedhead
He clears his thought and fixes your shirt
"It was f-falling off"
Like I said far too early so your tired self smiles sweetly not thinking much about it.
After Toby gathers himself he smiles and chuckles to himself. His fingers find their way to your hair and attempt to untangle your hair. You lean into his chest and relax. This feels all so normal and simple.
