The face of the woman who brought you into this world. The one who raised you from birth and helped you learn as a child. She, was your target? Her mouth has a rag over it stoping her from speaking. She muffles a few words and her eyes are shocked with terror.
"How-" you begin
"How indeed" a voice creeps into your mind
You quickly turn around to face the source. However there was no source? But you swore it was somewhere. You were one hundred percent sure that you heard it. Your mother heard it too. She too is struck by confusion and is trying to break free but fails to do so.
"The true process of making a killer" The voice speaks again "kill what keeps you sane"
"Zalgo?" you thought, he was the only one that could speak in your head like this. However it hurt when Zalgo spoke inside your head. This time it was calm and comforting.
"No" the voice said. Whoever this was they had no intention of harming you in any way
"Then who the hell are you?"
"You already know of me"
"I....do?"
"Why do you waste your youth working to hurt and one day kill?"
"I have to or else..."
"Or else what?"
"My...friends and family will die by his will"
"Who's will might I ask?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" you snarl
"So you will kill your own mother just to protect the rest?"
"I....I have no choice"
"Let us make a deal then"
"Sorry" you chuckle "I've already sold my soul to the devil"
"Your will may belong to Zalgo but I can give so much more"
"Heh what can you offer?"
"You'd be surprised"
"I'm listening"
"I'm willing to protect you from Zalgo"
"In return?"
"Work for me, my child"
Wait 'my child' you knew who used that phrase so many times, and you only knew of one other person who could speak in your head like this. You approached the window while your mother muffles loudly but you ignore her. You flash open the curtains and find the tall figure somewhat in the forest but still in sight.
"Slenderman" you glare
You see a smaller figure stands beside him. The figure is quiet hard to see though.
"Let us speak peacefully" he says
He teleports just about twenty feet away from the shack. The figure goes with him. You slowly approached from out the window and cross your arms. The smaller figure can now be seen. He wears a white button up shirt and a lose black tie. A surgical mask is over his mouth and nose. The mask has a toothy grin on it. Unlike his shirt which is snow white his mask is spattered with dark, dried, red blood.
"Hello doctor" you glare at the infamous Dr. Smiley himself.
"Hello" he greets professionally
"I want to keep my friends and family safe"
"That is what I will give" slender says
"But can you really protect me from Zalgo and keep my mother and friends safe as well?"
"They won't be hard to take care of, trust me child"
"And you won't force me to kill loved ones?"
"I have targets to take care of. As a proxie you will be sent to silence people who know of my location or threaten my children"
"Seems simple enough" you let yourself relax "and my life at school?"
"You will live in my world as so do my children. I will spare your mother of the memories she had of you and Zalgo will no longer you her as a threat to you"
"So, she'll be free of this nightmare of a job I have?"
"Yes"
"I need time to think"
"I don't think you understand" Dr. Smiley speaks "Zalgo wants you to finish the job and tell him the second you do it. There is no time to think"
"I am afraid he speaks the truth" Slender confirms "you must choose now"
