My hair is pulled back behind a nuns cap, my body covered in the traditional gown that they wear. Underneath I had black shorts on, as well as a black tank with my weapons strapped to me. I would've worn more, but the dress currently covering me was a lot heavier and thicker than I had though it would be.
I had been in Florence for weeks now, undercover in a convent minutes from where the Duomo was located. The Duomo was being held as a headquarters of sorts for men within the Italian Mafia, a place where they would trade both woman and secrets without ever believing they would get caught.
The woman in the convent I was staying at knew I didn't belong there, but once I told them what I was here for they turned their eyes and pretended I didn't exist. It tended to work better that way.
I slipped away as most continued prayer, keeping close to the ground and as silent as I could while pushing myself behind one of the pillars. I climbed it until I reached a ledge, pushing myself up so that I stood well over everyone within the room. I shed my dress as I pulled a gas mask up to hang around my neck, folding myself in as I waited for the doors to shut and the regular patrons to go home.
I had small gas bombs set up in specific locations around the church, as a 'just in case.' Rule of two people, always have two ways to kill and two ways to get out. It wasn't enough to actually hurt them, but more than enough to incapacitate them if i run out of option. I'm the detonator was strapped around my wrist, a small leather band with a silver coin hanging off. You could barely tell, but there was an indention within the coin that as soon as I pressed it, the place went up.
It was seven at night once the doors shut completely, but it wasn't until almost midnight that the men came back inside. These men looked like cliche gangster men, some in suits, some in regular t shirt and jeans, pulling struggling woman behind them. I grit my teeth as I watched, my eyes flickering back and forth from man to man a so tried to put names with their faces.
I felt my eyes twitch once I saw the leader of it all, Alessandro Esposito, walking in as if he was a god. I lurched forward a she reached and gripped a girls hair, growling into her face while his fingers were covered in golden rings. He wore a fitted suit with a gun holstered under his arm, showing it off as he flashed it to the girl to calm her down.
Didn't really help.
"The shipment?" My ears flickered as he spoke, his Italian accent fluttering through his words. I saw how he had so many woman at his disposal now, the way he spoke Italian sent shivers down my spine, although they weren't the good kind of shivers. This guy was a class A creep, one I was happy to take out.
"Coming in the bay ten after dawn." One of the other men answered him, practically eye raping the girl.
"How many?" Half of the other men grinned these snarling grin that made them look like wolves, a cold chill blowing across my skin.
"50 pure, 25 umpure." I furrowed my eyebrows before it hit me, sending me reeling back against the tower. Fuck I needed to call the Academy and have that shipment intercepted, and I need to take these guys out pronto.
"Why the fuck would she be here this late? They're fucking closed!"
"Why would the lights be on and the doors be open if they were closed jackass?"
My eyes widened as I heard their voices, and by the movement from down below, they heard them too. I rolled my eyes and internally groaned, these guys had the absolute worst timing. I eyed the main entrance as all fucking fourteen guys walked right on in, pausing in shock once they saw the other men in the room.
