"Oi, you! What the heck is all of this?!"

"Ya think?!" Utau cackled madly as she continued dashing down the pathway and away from the bigger kids who had been bullying some of her classmates, laughing at their paint-coloured selves.

Ever since she was young, everyone knew that Utau had a highly rebellious and mischievous streak in her that no one can control. Even when she was a sweet young child at 6 years of age who was supposed to be highly innocent and not know anything about the crapsack world, she was already the talk of the preschool, known as the one who always sassed up the teachers.

"Utau-san! Why are you late again?" Utau's teacher would always ask her after the girl sauntered into the class half an hour late.

She would then shrug and reply, "I'm not late, just really early for tomorrow."

And then she would get detention immediately afterwards. It was totally worth it, though.

Of course, she would be the one to talk back to anyone in general. Considering how she still had her memories of her past self who was around sixteen years old before meeting with that accident, Utau was always bored about living life as per normal, which made her begin to get curious about the different sides of people in this world. Maybe they had something that she didn't know about?

The moment Utau was born in this world, she knew exactly where she had landed in, and she could barely believe it. Utau never knew whether to consider this a blessing or a curse, but getting born into the world of Katekyo Hitman Reborn? That was definitely something she would be intrigued about.

And how did she know about that? Utau's only got her brother to blame.

"Utau, I'll bite you to death if you don't follow school regulations again..."

Again, she would just grin back lazily and reply with a "Try me."

Who would have thought that the stoic Hibari Kyoya would end up being her brother? Just the mere sight of him was enough to make Utau realise where she was, and the raven-haired girl knew that life was going to be very... interesting with the carnivore around.

It was even better when she realised that Kyoya had a totally different side of him that she would never expect to see.

"Oi, Kyo, did you buy the sandwiches?" Utau had asked her brother one day after school when she had to go for afternoon classes.

Kyoya could only frown as he replied, "I don't remember you asking me to do that."

Utau's jaw dropped. "You didn't buy them?! Kyoya, that was for our lunch tomorrow because Mom and Dad are gonna be out!"

He didn't respond, but Utau did see him bite his lip as a reaction. Of course. He was a boy of few words, after all. But Utau wasn't very pleased with the situation.

"That's it, Nii-san!" Utau yelled in mock anger as she pounced onto him and was about to smack him when...

"Pfft!"

"Huh?" Highly confused, Utau looked back at his feet and realised something. Were the frills of her scarf at his foot?

Then that means...
