"A mafia boss has many skills under his belt, Dame Tsuna. If you want to be successful, you and your guardians will have to learn music," Reborn stated. How he kept a straight face while spouting what seemed like nonsense was a mystery to everyone present. Tsuna, who at that point in time, was more adapt to ridiculous situations and Reborn's evil plans, merely sighed, "So what instruments are we going to learn to play?"

"A Mafia boss must learn to make his own decisions," With that parting thought, Reborn disappeared into one of the hidden crevices he owned. All assumed he was going to watch the chaos unfold from some unknown place, as though he was a god.

"What instrument should I play?" Now that Reborn was out of the picture (temporarily), Tsuna slumped down onto the table in defeat, groaning at the very idea.

"You should think about the idea properly, Tsuna-kun. Reborn won't be happy if you mess up," Anastasia smirked evilly as she waved goodbye to the thinking Tenth Generation.

"Music's life, Tsunami. Have fun," Utau replied with a straight face before sniggering.

"It'll be alright, Tsuna-nii! I'll help you-" Kasumi tried to comfort her brother but was cut off by a certain baby who suddenly popped out of nowhere.

"Ah, and if Kasumi helps you in this task, Dame-Tsuna, you'll have to suffer the taste of Bianchi's cooking for a week. For now, ciao ciao!" Reborn then returned to his hidden crevice, while sipping on a cup of espresso.

In the next few weeks, the teenagers scrambled to find an instrument that suited them. Anastasia took to electric guitar like a fish to water; Utau had adopted the Concert Flute thanks to her passion in singing allowing her to have the strength to blow air into it; Kasumi was playing the keyboard, Hana on the saxophones, Kyoko on drums, Chikusa and Ken with a bass guitar ( Although Ken demonstrated an affinity to playing the triangle as well ), Haru on the tambourine and Chrome with the harp.

Surprisingly, the ones struggling the most were the Tenth Generation but they finally pulled through.

With Takeshi...

"Hey Tsuna! I found an instrument, ahaha!" The black haired, star player laughed, waving the admittedly fragile looking instrument before Tsuna.

"Cool, where did you find it?" The brunette replied, wondering how his friend could be so enthusiastic.

"Ah, apparently it was lying in the attic gathering dust! It's a flute from my ancestor. His name was Asari Ugetsu, that sounds like the First Rain Guardian of the game we are playing, right?" Takeshi finished with a wide smile, unaware that Tsuna was trembling from head to toe.

"That's because that flute did belong to the First Rain Guardian... Why me?!" Tsuna's pleas were ignored.

With Hayato and Lambo...

"Tsuna-sama! I have imported mine and the cow Brat's instruments from abroad!" The loyal puppy reported to his beloved boss.

"That's great, Hayato! What are they?" Tsuna asked curiously, after all Takeshi's flute was a fluke. Just a weird coincidence, yes it was.

"My piano is the one that my mother had and taught with me. Apparently, it's a family heirloom from some old guy called G. Lambo's is a set of drums that was passed down from his ancestor as well. It was a gift from the father of the Bovino heiress named Lampo of all things!" Hayato answered obediently.

Eye twitching violently, Tsuna muttered under his breath, "Just a coincidence, Tsuna. Nothing to worry about, nothing at all."

With Ryohei...

"SAWADA! I FOUND AN EXTREME TUBA FROM THIS EXTREME GUY CALLED KNUCKLE!"

"Just a coincidence, just a coincidence, nothing important..." The poor brunette murmured to himself hopelessly.

With Kyoya...

"Hn," The grey eyed perfect eyed the bedraggled omnivore disinterestedly.

"Is that your instrument, Hibari-san?" Tsuna squeaked out a question, before covering his mouth in horror.

"Alaude." The one word reply made Tsuna stare at the innocent acoustic guitar with terror in his veins. What was cursing him so badly that this was his life?

With Mukuro and Chrome...

"Mukuro, why are you cursing the cello?" Tsuna managed to let his words escape without a stutter.

"That's because this beautiful object once belonged to that ugly melon head called Daemon Spade!" Mukuro alternated between caressing the instrument and glaring at it as he spat out the vile name.

"What about you, Chrome-chan?" Tsuna sweatdropped as he watched the normally kind girl glare at the harp.

"The harp is owned by Daemon Spade-san as well..." Listlessly, Chrome replied as though disappointed by the beautiful harp's origin.

"JustacoincidencejustacoincidencejustacoincidenceJustacoincidencejustacoincidencejustacoincidenceJustacoincidencejustacoincidencejustacoincidence" At that point in time, Tsuna was rendered incomprehensible.

Finally, with Tsuna, himself...

"Kasumi, look I bought a violin!" Tsuna grinned proudly from ear to ear.

"That's great Tuna! Why don't you open the case?" Kasumi wondered, Utau standing bored behind her as Anastasia started chuckling ominously.

Valiantly ignoring the cackles from behind him, Tsuna lifted the violin gently out of the case, only to notice a small engraving at the base. He peered closer.

"Property of... Sawada Ieyasu..." His words were greeted with silence and the continuous laughter from Anastasia.

Without further ado, Tsuna's eyes rolled backwards and he fainted.

"Ah, the Tuna died," Kasumi commented blankly, accompanied by the uproarious laughter from Utau, who crashed onto the floor and started rolling around with tears from her eyes. "BWAHAHAHAHA!"

"You can be surprisingly savage at times, Kasumi," Anastasia drawled nonchalantly, "We are going to be late for our lessons. Let's go!"

And so, the trio left Tsuna lying dead to the world on the ground.

Excerpt #1

"Hey, Anastasia-chan, where did you get your electric guitar?" Tsuna asked curiously as he pondered why there was a sudden change in atmosphere. The three girls shared an ominous look, and suddenly, Tsuna regretted ever asking. "Ah, actually you don't have to answer--" Tsuna's plea was cut off as Anastasia replied blankly.

"I found this beauty in a second hand collectors' shop actually. Apparently, the owner was someone named Elena Spade..." Anastasia's voice trailed off, as she observed Tsuna's face turn pale before he was foaming on the ground, clutching his head in disbelief.

"Curiosity killed the cat," Utau rubbed salt into the wound as she continued in an unfeeling manner.

Kasumi observed her brother in a way similar to how scientists observed their test subjects, "Tsuna-nii, rather than worry about the owners of our instruments, shouldn't you be practising on your violin? Didn't Reborn say that the deadline to play Sonata No. 9 'Kreutzer' by Beethoven is today?" Her question sent Tsuna reeling in shock and despair. At that moment, Reborn appeared, cackling, "Dame-Tsuna, looks like you are not ready. You need more training." Immediately, gunshots resounded through the once peaceful neighbourhood as Tsuna scrambled out of sight.

"HIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
