Utau and Anastasia were up to it again, Hayato observed as he passed by one of the more secluded walls of the school. (The two girls had ultimately forced Hayato into calling them by their names in methods that were better off left undescribed.) The duo were whispering, heads close to each other as they peered at the screen of one of their cellphones, Utau casually swinging a pen knife and catching it with deadly accuracy, while Anastasia twirled a pair of crimson scissors in her left hand absentmindedly. They seemed completely at ease, breaking out into positively evil snickers at random intervals.

Hayato knew that the two were extremely intelligent for their ages, just like he was, not that he was bragging, and he itched to join them. What were they thinking about? What was their thought process? What exactly are they planning? He needed to know. He had to know, or he would die trying.

It was happening again, Tsuna observed as he had been for the last week. Honestly, it probably had been going on for much longer but he acknowledged that he was not the most observant person. Hayato had casually joined Utau, and both of them had slid open the classroom door to reveal Anastasia, Mukuro's younger sister and now, one of Kasumi's best friends. The trio would then proceed to disappear for the rest of lunch period, Utau and Hayato only appearing mere moments before the afternoon classes started. It was unnerving, and something creeped at his mind, shouting about chaos and mayhem. Even without Hyper Intuition, Tsuna already had an inkling that putting Utau (Reckless, possibly insane, bright), Hayato (Hot Tempered, the most intelligent person Tsuna knew) and Anastasia (Crafty, definitely insane to a certain degree, smart enough to keep up with the duo above) was a recipe for disaster.

It was eating at him, Tsuna supposed. Was he supposed to ensure the safety of everybody by stopping whatever nefarious plan that the trio concocted, as a friend and the next mafia boss? Or was it more important for him to protect his sanity, because he did not want to touch whatever they were doing together with a ten foot pole or anything at all. Finally, possibly horribly misplaced self righteousness won out. Steeling himself, Tsuna set off on his self imposed mission. From another aspect, Tsuna supposed Reborn was rubbing off him too much, in a very chaos inducing way.

What Tsuna found was even worse than he originally had expected. The brunette had stumbled onto them by accident. The unholy trio had been hiding out at one of the small corners of the school, whereby they would be easily missed if he had not been looking for them, or possessed a Hyper Intuition. Half enveloped by shadows, the three very dangerous students wore similar smirks on their faces. They seemed to be discussing something thoroughly , complete with holographic diagrams and piles of notebooks surrounding them, which were obviously carefully noted if the miniscule words and rough sketches were anything to go by. Hayato had even tied back his hair and a pair of glasses were perched on his nose. Utau was talking animatedly in low tones, the pen knife that she threw upwards in the air and caught becoming increasingly frequent and elaborate. Anastasia was even twirling the scissors at such high speeds that all Tsuna could make out was a blur of silver and red, more focused on the set of notes before her as she made small adjustments to the holograph. Other than the fact that the three someone acquired a machine capable of producing holographic images which probably cost a bomb, there even seemed to be a weird, ominous aura surrounding the trio, unsettling and suspiciously still.

Tsuna stilled. Did he even want to attempt to poke the hornet's nest the trio resembled? In the end, the courage and confidence he had built up was extinguished. The brunette stumbled away, feet tripping over each other in his haste to speed away from the disastrous scene.

"Strange, I'm sure I saw Tsuna-sama just now..." Hayato mused as hell stared at the empty surroundings.

Utau and Anastasia shared a private look.

"Fufufu... Maybe it was an afterimage or something," Anastasia drawled as she stared at the pair of scissors in her hand as though it was the most interesting thing in the world.

"Yeah, or maybe it means you are having withdrawal symptoms from being away from Tsuna for too long," Utau chimed in, similarly fixated on the pen knife.

"In that case, I have to bask in Tsuna-sama's awesomeness!" With that exclamation, the loyal right hand was gone, disappearing around the corner at breakneck speed.

Now alone, Utau and Anastasia made eye contact. They laughed.

Omake in an Omake:

"HIEEEE! What are you doing in and to my house?" Tsuna shrieked in horror as he watched the trio professionally instruct and direct construction workers, painters and actual interior designers around the house.

"Oh, did Nana-san forget to tell you?" Anastasia asked innocently, although her smile seemed to merely further instil fear in the brunette.

"Silly, Tsuna-nii! Utau-chan, Anastasia-chan and Hayato-kun have been spending the past few days coordinating agents to redecorate our house, as talked by Kaa-san!" Kasumi replied, hands on her hips as she shook her head in mock disappointment.

Tsuna's jaw dropped. Wait, so all this time, when he has been worried incessantly over the trio's evil ploy, it was actually all for naught?

"Chin up, Tsunami. Gotta face the truth and all," Cackling, Utau walked past, heaving a pile of tiles with her with ease.

Her words were utterly ineffective, but she didn't really care. Tsuna merely grew more mushrooms in a dark corner.
