Chapter 11
Lucky for me, Malachy sleeps before 10 when he has an early shift the next day. Everyone in the house was asleep, and mum hasn't come back yet.
I tiptoed to my room and fell asleep.

The next day, I went to school as usual. However instead of going straight to class, I was busy texting Devin at the corridor. Since I saw his text this morning, we've been texting non-stop until now. He wasn't at school yet, so I decided to surprise him while waiting for him near the staircase where he said he usually passes by.
After 30 minutes, I got bored, "That's funny, he said he was close to school by now..." Just then I felt tickling fingers on either side of my waist, "BOO!"
I jolted up and crouched down. I had a soft spot on my waists, "Hey!"
Devin burst out laughing, "Hey yourself! I didn't know you had a tickle spot there. Where else would it be, I wonder...?"
I quickly stood up and spanked him on the shoulder, "Don't even think about it," I paused to catch my breath and then continued, "Hey, I thought you passed by this way?"
He chortled, "Cupcake, when someone asks where you usually pass by to get to class, they usually mean their gonna pull a prank on you. Common sense, my dear. Aww, you're so cute when you know nothing!"
I snorted. I don't know nothing, my last school just doesn't do those things, so I don't have experience in these, "Augh, whatever."

During lunch we decided to eat together. Well, I asked if we could. After what had happened, I just really wanted someone who knows about it so I would feel safe and comfortable somehow.
I didn't.
Not one bit.
He always seemed to find some unthinkable way to annoy me at every aspect. The group didn't help at all. As a matter of fact, Krissy and Miranda even teamed up with him to get at me. Check this out for example:
Devin sat beside me, almost sitting on top of me if I didn't scoot over to my left. He pinched my cheeks on both sides, "Hello, pumpkin!"
I slapped his hands away, "Stop calling me that, Loli-con."
"What's a loli-con?" Arian scooted over to my left, I was sandwiched.
"Oh, nothing. It's just--"
"It's a guy that likes lolis, who are cute and cuddly little girls, in a sexual way." He winked at me.
To say that I merely blushed at his blunt description was an understatement, even Arian was shocked at how he said it, and not because of his accent, "Y-you don't have to put it that way... It's kinda like a Japanese term for Pedo Bear."
"So Devin's a Pedo Bear?"
"Yeah."
"And you're the little girl?"
"Yes. Wait, no. What the hell?" I turned to face Devin but instead met an index finger to point at my face, "Oh Goodness, what the bloody hell is THAT on your face? Is that a bug?"
My eyes widened, "A bug? Where? Get it off!"
He gestured for Miranda and Krissy, "Look! There's a bug on Rennie's face! I huge one!"
"Oh my God, you're right!"
"It's going up her nose!"
"Don't worry, I'm an expert in these types of bugs. I just have to get it off you with my mouth..."
