Men, hold on to your girl, please. If you feel like you wanna be with her, be the man who stands next to her infront of the altar, never let that feeling go away and cherish her. Treat her like she's gonna be gone the next day. You'll be surprised just how much it means to her.

Tbh, that's what causes girlfriends to be a little cray cray. Boys will be boys, but she probably met someone at YOUR age that cherishes his girlfriend more than you cherish her. Think about that. Do you really want her to think about another guy? Much less COMPARE you to him when you can OBVIOUSLY be better?

If you depend on her too much that she'll always be by your side no matter what happens, even if she said it yourself, nothing good will come of it. You woudn't want to hurt your girlfriend, even IF you didn't really mean it, right?

Just try to be the person you want your daughter to be with when she grows up. Not the person she cries about and makes her doubt on love... Possibly not believing in it altogether.

Believe me, I know this. I have my own boyfriend, you know. He's a lot like what I want you men to avoid being. But I love him so what the hey.

However YOUR girl might act otherwise.

Anyway, this is chapter 12.

Enjoy.

Chapter 12

"W-what?" I couldn't stop the sudden pain in my chest. My father? I didn't even know the guy and he did this to me?

Well, almost did this to me.

But still, I can't believe it. I won't, "You don't know what you're talking about."

I started to walk away but he firmly grabbed my wrist, "I'm telling the truth. Please, hear me out."

I let out a deep sigh. I'm still doubting him, but I've always wondered how my father was like, I was curious, so I let him tell his tale, "Alright, what's this 'truth' you say?"

We got down to a table and he told me everything, well, right after he blushed like crazy, which I honestly do not know why, "See, Ren... The thing is, this guy just came to me. I was on my way home from school and before I even got to my car he came to me. He was polite at first, asking me if I knew you. I said yeah, and then he just came at me and placed some kind of hankerchief on my mouth until I passed out!" He stopped for a moment, gathering it all in and took a deep breath, "When I woke up, I was in this cavern. Someone held a flashlight at me and he, the man who came at me, was infront.

"He said something about your father, how I should blame him for this. Then he just..." His head bowed down and put his hands over it. He looked at me again with horrified eyes, "...tortured me. He tortured me, Ren. Tortures I never seen before. It hurt, a lot," he rolled up his sleeves to show his toned biceps all cover in scratches, bruises, scrapes, even puncture wounds, "They're all over my body. I'm so sorry, Ren. I would've taken it all, really. I would've let them kill me, for God's sakes. I never want anything to happen to you."

He put a hand on my cheek. But due to the bruises he had on his palm, his face hurtened a little, but he still held on, "But... They said they were gonna kill my family. They said they were gonna kill you. I didn't want that to happen so I gave them what they wanted. I told them just how much I knew about you. I tried leaving out details but they just tortured me even more.

"I'm so sorry, Ren, I didn't know they'd try killing you even then. Raping you, even... I'm so stupid. I'm so so stupid." He covered his face and then messed up his hair.
