Chapter 9

Reyna

Reyna had just finished off the empousas when she noticed that Nico was not around. instead she found him near a tree bleeding his arm out. Luckily Reyna had a square of ambrosia safely tucked in her pocket. She quickly took it out and forced it down Nico's throat. Immediately color returned to his cheeks. next she tore a piece of cloth from her sleeve and tied it around his arm. In all this she forgot Coach Hedge. she looked around and found him sleeping against a huge rock. Reyna smiled to herself. The old Satyr was too hyperactive. Just then she heard a groan and she turned back to Nico. his eyes fluttered open. Gods, he looks handsome. Shut up, self. "how do you feel?" she asked. "pretty good" he replied. "good. now go back to sleep. I'm guarding." she said and stood up. before he could protest Reyna turned around and walked away. She made a small fire and sat near it, thinking. She thought about how Camp Jupiter was doing without her. Octavian was probably poisoning there minds. she thought how the seven were doing on the Argo II. she hoped that they were doing good. Especially Jason. And Percy. why was Reyna's love life so complicated?. first, came Jason. he was so sweet and charming, but then Hera chucked him and he returned home with a Greek girlfriend. then, Percy came. he was also sweet not to mention, cute too. she thought that at least he would stay and help her lead but even he had made it clear that he had a girlfriend and was soon gone on the quest. and finally, Nico. he was mysterious but in a good way. and Reyna found herself developing strong feelings for him. Would things ever be easy for her ?.
