BROKEN
At the end of the day, I found my way to my locker. I was startled by a hands being placed on my hips. I turned around quickly to become face to face with Ponyboy. I smiled and as he kissed me on the lips.
"How was your day, Har?" He asked me while holding my books as placed them in the cold metal box. I shrugged.
"It was okay. How was yours?"
"Same old," I closed my locker as I turned around and leaned against it.
"Is Two-Bit taking you home?" I asked pushing his fluffy hair behind his ear.
"Yea, uh hey do you wanna go to the nightly double Friday night?" I smiled and giggled with a nod.
"Yes, I'd love to," a smile curled at the ends of his lips. Two-Bit came along and slapped his hand on Pony's shoulder.
"Ready to go, pal?" Pony nodded.
"Hey Har, where ya headed?" I shrugged.
"Home probably. I'll call you later." He shot me a wink before walking out of the school with Two.

I decided to go for a walk after I had gotten home. I had put on some of my old cloths and bit my lip. I walked out of the house and walked to the park and sat down on the bench that Dally would always take me to. I heard the sound of someone running. My attention snap toward the sound of even breathing. It was Randy.
I let out a noise in disgust as I rolled my eyes. He stoped at the bench letting out a chuckle before looking down trying to regain his confidence.
"What are you doing here by your lonesome?" He took a deep breath wiping the sweat off his forehead.
"None of your business," I snapped as I crossed my arms
"What is your deal?" He looked at me with a cheeky smile.
"My deal?" I scoffed. "My deal is I'm not interested. That's obviously not getting through that thick skull of yours." I smiled and he sat down beside me. He shook his head at me.
"You are somethin' else." I laughed at the statement. "Can I take you out?" He asked leaning back all confident in himself.
My eyes widened as I looked at him."Are you kidding me? What part of Ponyboy telling you that we're together do you not understand? I don't know what you're trying to do but you better just cut it out." I huffed giving him a side eye, "You have some nerve."
He laughed, not understanding what I had said. "I-I don't-"
"Randy, I'm telling you to fuck off," It hurt me to say it. I licked my lips and let out a huff. He shook his head at me.
"No," he scratched the back of his neck. "I can't do that." He shot a grin as I looked at him in annoyance. I get up from the bench and ran. I ran to Bucks. My fist slammed on the door and Buck answered.
"Harley, what-," I pushed him aside and ran up to wear Dally stayed I opened the door slowly. I looked around at how he left it. I covered my mouth as I closed the door behind me.
"Hey Dal," I walked over to his bed and sat down on his bed gathering his sheets. I clinched them as I pulled them up to my nose. I was silent as my nose was filled with his sent. the door opened and Buck walked in. His mouth in the shape of a frown.
"Har," I looked up at him moving the sheets away from my face. He gestured his head for me to leave the room. I put the sheets back on the bed before getting up and walking out.
"I'm sorry," I shook my head. "I don't know why I did that. I just-," I stopped to think.
"It's okay. If you ever need anything just stop by," I thanked him and walked out of the house.
I wandered to the Curtis's house. I knocked on the door and Soda answered. "Hey Harley, c'mon in!" He smiled and I smiled back. He moved aside so I could come in. The gang was there. But it felt empty. It felt like there was something missing and there obviously was.
"We haven't seen you, Har. How've you been?" Soda asked coming up next to me, his hands shoved in his back pockets. I cocked my head slightly and nodded.
"I've been okay," I looked at him as he went back to he table where he and Steve were playing cards. I went over to the couch and sat down fiddling with my hands.
"How's the west side treatin' ya?" Steve asked as he placed a cards down on the table. I shrugged.
"Alright, I think. Theres just this one cornball that won't leave me alone."
"Is it Randy?" Soda chimes in as he flicks a card at Steve with a chuckle.
"Did Pony tell you?" I asked.
"Did he tell us? Shoot he practically told the whole neighborhood with the way he was yellin'," Steve smacked Soda's arm signaling him to cut it out. Soda looked at him with an offended expression.
Before I knew it Pony crashed through the door practically in tears from laughing at Two-Bit. He walked in and saw me and his laugh faded. "What are you doing here?"
I swallowed hard, "I uh-I ended up going to Buck's after school. I told myself I was going home but I found myself walking there and I-." I bit my one finger as I grew disappointed in myself. The room was silent as my eyes glanced of each one of them individually.
"Har," Pony whispers as I shook my head.
"Please don't pity me right now," I snapped looking up at him. He shook his head with a chuckle while putting his hands up.
"Alright, you know what, I'm done," he walked into his bedroom. I got up and followed after him.
"You're done?" I stood in the doorway as he turned on his heels to look at me.
"Harley, I can't keep doing this," he put a book on his desk as he looked at me coldly.
"What on Earth are you talking about?" his frustration grew towards me.
"One second you're pushing me away and the next you're all over me. I can't keep doing this to myself, I'm done," he yelled at me and I looked at him taken back. He rubbed his forehead and mumbled, "You're just like Dallas." I bit my lip and shrugged.
"Fine, see ya round grease!" I flipped him off before I walked out slamming the door of his bedroom. Holding back whatever I could I ran back to the west side. Back to where I now lived. Back to what changed my life.
