I held back a scream. A girl with red short hair with white ears and cat tail, was dead in front of me, an empty bottle laid next to her with the label "healing potion" I picked it up, sniffed it, and gasped. It was not even close to a healing potion. It was a failed chemical potion labeled as a success. When a chemical potion is a failure, it's a poison. The girl was cold as ice but when I checked her pulse I felt a small pitter patter. Then I sensed I wasn't the only one left. Luckily enough the girl had a sword on her side. I took it and pointed it at the first person I saw. Jason my old clan brother pointed his sword at me. His lip was lifted as he growled.
"Step away from the girl." He snapped. I lifted my lip and hissed.
"Why is she poisoned!?" I demanded angrily.
"Casualties." He scoffed. "Jack makes mistakes."
"Mistakes! She's damn near dead! I clearly remember chemical Alchemy being banned after the first time he tried."
"Well he has gotten better and no one will bother to stop him." Jason tightened his grip on his sword. "Now step away."
"I will heal her and get the full story." I said, knowing that there was a reason he was stalling.
"Mollie don't be stupid. You have no experience with swords." He swung and knocked the sword out of my hand. The sword cut into my hand next and then my shoulder. I hit the ground and got a kick in the stomach. I let out a small shriek as Jason tossed his sword and picked me up by my shoulders. He slammed me down again making me spit blood. He grabbed my neck and pinned me down. I sunk my claws into his arm only to be slapped across the face. I tried to cry out but I couldn't even breathe. I kneed and shoved Jason off and my first scream was shocking even to me.
"Christopher!" I cried. Jason laughed.
"Crying for master, are we?" He smirked before sending his boot into my side. I cried out again.
"Christopher!" Jason laughed as blood dripped from my mouth. I knew Christopher was in class and so I cried out a new name I had no faith in. "Boltz!" I screamed. "Boltz, please!" I didn't know if he was in the room. Just that his class was in session and my yelling was dangerous. As I took a kick in the face and my vision blurred, a hand reached and grabbed Jason. His arms was pinned to his sides. Another hand gently picked me up as I whined from pain.
"You're lucky my whole class enjoys listening to music." Mr.Boltz said as he stepped down from a stool. He did not show any concern for how comfortable or uncomfortable Jason was. He made sure to hold my gently as he could as he discreetly went back to his desk while making sure to use a book to hide Jasper and wrapping his fingers around me. Jason got tossed into his desk drawer while he made sure to lay me on his leg. The bell rang and he waited until his class was completely gone before lifting me onto his desk again.
"Christopher will be here soon." He said as he gently lifted my arm and pressed it between his fingers. I whimpered and he let go. "Well it's not broken so that's good. I'm sorry for this." He placed my arm between his fingers again and popped it back into place after I realized it was dislocated. He winced as I screamed out in pain. He let go and I was able to lift my arm and place my hand on my chest and healed myself. I was still sore but fine. Mr.Boltz looked at me and seemed me studying me.
"You truly are intriguing." He said simply. Then he shrugged on his comment and helped me stand. "Will you be okay?"
"Yeah." He handed me a tissue piece which I used to wipe my face and he helped wipe blood off. Christopher had walked in and saw me clearly having blood. He dropped his stuff and ran over.
"Mollie!" He cried. He picked me up quickly and looked at me all over. "You're hurt!"
"Christopher I'll be fine." I said quickly shooing him away. "Boltz, I need you to pick up a girl on the cabinet. She's close to dying." Mr.Boltz didn't hesitate and quickly retrieved the girl. Christopher set me down and I began to quickly search for a pulse.
