We sat all talking for awhile until there was about ten minutes left of the lunch period.

"I'm really glad to have you back, Jas." I said sincerely. I haven't called him Jas in a long time. He blushed.

"Same to you, sis." He hasn't called me sis in forever. Boltz cleared his throat.

"I am very much glad that you two are on better terms but there is something we all need to discuss." He said in serious tone. "With Jack clearly angered, you two will need somewhere else to stay. He knows this room just as well as you two do." Jason and I exchanged looks. Christopher tensed up immediately.

"There isn't anyone else here that knows about them..." He said nervously.

"I'm not saying that anyone else needs to know their existence. Just that a new room may be better for them." He was right about Jack. Even without his prized knight, he could easily find another warrior to hunt us down in the room. As long as we were in his territory we were free game.

"Most tribes by now may believe Jack's story and attack us on sight." I told him.

"Only the mouse tribe is for sure our ally but the teacher and students of the room are enemies." Jason added. "With that said, we either take our chances there or risk Jack doing something more drastic."

"But what about me getting Mollie at the end of the day? Or lunch?" Christopher asked, his tone quiet and nervous.

"I'd imagine these two would be able to make their way back here during lunch and at the end of the day." Boltz said. "At the end of each day they can return here and you can take Mollie home. I'll happily watch over Jason, if that is okay with you." He looked at Jason who tensed a little.

"I don't really have anywhere else to go. Even if the mouse tribe tolerates me, they surely won't allow me to take refuge after how I acted..." He took a deep breath in and released it. "So that may be the best plan." Boltz nodded but didn't reply.

"So do we make our way into the mouse territory now?" I asked. Red had just left earlier but we could possibly catch up or someone patrolling could help us.

"That may be best for you two." Boltz stood up. "The teacher currently is still out for lunch so I'll let you two in." He put his hand down. Being used to the free rides, I climbed on without hesitation. Jason braced himself before climbing awkwardly on. Christopher, meanwhile, bit his lip. He was always worried something and I was one of them. Noticing this, Boltz placed his free hand on Christopher's shoulder.

"Mollie will be okay. I know it's been rough and things haven't been that calm but she's survived on her own for the most part hasn't she?" He looked him in the eyes, a soft gaze to attempt to calm him down more.

"Yes, but-"

"But nothing. Mollie will be back here at the end of the day. She isn't going to leave you behind." Boltz smiled and Christopher bit his lip before nodding. I gave a smile too just so his nerves would settle.
Boltz opened the door and crouched down. He placed his hand on the ground, carefully making sure nobody was watching. I stepped off first and Jason followed.

"Stay out of trouble. I would like to not have to come here to hear my colleague screaming about something in her room." Boltz said as he stood back up. I had to admit, this was the first time we've stood on the floor. He was taller than Christopher, a huge difference to me. Had I not known him it would be more than intimidating. It still was, but less than it could be. With that said, Boltz shut the door and soon we walked along the empty room floor. I knew we were being watched but from where was uncertain. They knew me, but Jason, oh god they would not hesitate to attack on sight. I was hoping that Red had already backed me up, otherwise we may have a slight problem of having somewhere to stay.
As expected, a warrior guard came out of hiding and approached us, their hands ready on their sword.

"Why have you brought this one?" They asked, referring to Jason. I stood in front of him.

"It's a long story. I promise he won't do any harm though." They eyed me for a moment.

"How can you be so sure he won't attack my clan on sight?"

"Just trust me, he won't." I meet their gaze to establish sincerity. They stared me down before finally lowering their weapon.

"Fine. One wrong move and you're gone." They said sternly before walking away, signalling for us to follow. We were soon led behind a bookshelf where the tribe's door was revealed. Once inside we were greeted by Alexa, the head guard. She took one look at Jason and then me. I gave her a nervous laugh as a response. She didn't intervene but still made sure to watch Jason very closely. We walked into the dining area of the home where many of the clan members were gathered. It had a homey feeling to it. All of the mouse tribe members were getting along, children were with their birth parents which you could tell by their appearance, and it seemed that they valued family more than my tribe. However the room became quiet as the attention set on us. Whispers sprinkled the air as Elliot separated from the groups.

"I hope you have a good explanation of why he is here, Mollie." He asked, keeping his eyes on Jason.

"It's a long story but I promise Jason won't hurt anyone." I told him. "We can't stay in the other room anymore. Jack is determined to kill me, and now Jason. He came up to us by himself." Elliot examined the bruises we had.

"This is madness." He said with a sigh. "I'm assuming you want to take shelter here?"

"We don't mean to intrude but we really don't have much choice. We can help out with things in exchange." I told him, trying to sweeten the deal.

"Hmm." Elliot thought hard for a moment. We posed a threat by being a target so it wasn't a shock that he was hesitant. "Alright. You can stay here."

"Thank you, Eli. It will only be until the end of school each day." I say gratefully. He nods.

"I have a task already for you, young lady."

"What is that?"

"Learn how to defend yourself. Even healers need defense training." He turned to Alexa. "Train her in the basics. If Jack wants to pick a fight, she needs to be ready."

"Of course." Alexa turned to me. "Follow me."

"What about Jason?" I asked.

"He is going to join our scouts in making sure the room is secure." Elliot answered. "Go train, he will be fine." I nod and follow Alexa to a room full of different weapons. For the next few hours it was decided that I worked best with small blades. I learned basic things, I was no where near a pro with the dagger but by the end of the session I knew a good amount. Alexa gave me two of my own daggers to which were strapped to my thighs.
I messed with the holster that was tied tightly on my leg as I waited for Jason to return from scouting. When he did finally arrive, he glanced at my new weapons.

"Why didn't you get a sword?" He asked. I shrugged.

"These are more suitable for me, I guess."

"Lame." He joked. "We should start heading back to Boltz room." He pointed at the giant clock which was visible from door of the clan's home.

"Okay, but we'll have to be careful since the class is still going on." With that said, we began our trip back to Boltz's room.
