Chapter Nineteen

-Alec

Falling is like flying except no matter how long you fall you always crash. In flying you can land safely wherever you're. I never thought I would fall in love, but you seem to have proven me wrong. You have been the only one to care about me and you didn’t know it. I didn’t even realize that I was falling until the moment I hit, crashing into you. Falling in love never seems to work out because one person doesn’t fall and the other is ready to catch, or vice versa. I guess I still am waiting for you to catch me because I am still falling for you.

I write, you probably didn’t know that. I write poetry, in fact and that’s why I use you as my inspiration. You’re the best inspiration for writing and falling in love is the best to write poetry with. The most useful thing though is to write about real life experiences and I seem to have both. I know you're probably getting tired of hearing me repeat the same words over and over. I know you don’t feel the same, but I have to try. I have to fight for the one thing that has ever cared.

I told you in an earlier letter that you would never see what your inspiration has let me create. I have changed my mind and I think you should read one of poems. I hope you’re ready.

Falling in Love

Falling in love

I can hear my heart fluttering like a dove

You look at me and see

Right into my soul, I fear

Now I am not much of a rhyming poet

Though sometime you make it

Easier

You see when I fell in love with you

I fell hard and fast

but I couldn’t tell if you were there

Ready to catch me

And so I slowed down and have

 Been falling for awhile

Now

I fell in love with you

When I awoke one day and

Went for a run

I ran into you and you carried me away

Well to my house I guess…

So what do you say to this?

I say to you,

“Catch Me”

Have you fallen for me?

Or are you still deciding whether

I am good enough for you

Boy, I wonder

If you will catch me

So are you going to catch me?
