(A/N) I'm sorry it's been awhile since I written anything. I've been pretty ill, but I decided to write a bit of this because it's not so long. Sorry for the wait, and hope you enjoy~
Breeze and Luca ignored their birth father telling them to be careful as they ran out of the long house early in the morning. Nita followed behind, stumbling a bit as he tried to catch up with his older brothers.
"Come on, guys!" Nita stopped to catch his breathe. His shoulder length hair wasn't put up and got in his face. The two other were older, nearly men already and weren't birth fathers. They became warriors and trained in the forest hunting game. Nita was a birth father, but still only twelve, so he was still too young to get married yet. He followed his two brothers everyday, hoping he could learn a bit of hunting from them. He didn't want to become like his other brother, Anya. Who got married already at the age of sixteen. Nita wanted to be free and outside in the forest. "Where you at??" Nita looked around. He started to get nervous with nothing but the sound of the leaves of trees rustling. "This isn't funny! Luca? Breeze?" Tears were starting to form. He knelt to the ground, hugging his knees. "I'm scared.."
"They leave you behind?" Nita turned around and felt relieved to see Anya with a smile on his face.
"Anya!" He ran over hugging him tightly. "I was so scared!" He started to cry into his chest. Anya stroked his beautiful blue hair, comforting him.
"You're safe." Nita nodded, wiping away the tears. "This is why you should not go out to the forest. Especially with those two men." He rolled his eyes, causing Nita to giggle. "How bout I take you back to birth father? I had news to tell him anyway." Anya guided Nita back to the tribe and into the long house. Hina, their birth father knelt beside the fire, knitting a blanket made of yarn he colored into light blue and yellow. He looked up, seeing the two.
"Nita, you alright?" He got up, running over to his youngest son. tears had stained his face. Nita nodded, hugging Hina. "I told you it wasn't a good idea to go in the forest. You're a future birth father. we belong here."
"But, I wanna go exploring like Luca, Breeze and father do!" he puffed out his cheeks, trying to look mad. but it only made him look more adorable. Hina smiled, holding his hand.
"I know, but it's dangerous. How about staying here with me for now on? You could play with the other kids around the tribe." Nita, still with his cheeks puffed out and looking down nodded. "Go play. The twins were looking for you earlier."
Hina sat back near the fire, tending to his knitting. Anya walked over. he had a serious face on. "Birth father.." He started, tugging at the bottom of his animal skin shirt. "I-I...I-I'm pregnant." He looked up over at Hina who's eyes widened. A large smile showed on his.
"That's right!" He got up, hugging him. "You mated with What's his name? Oh, Ryuu!" He let go to scan Anya up and down. "At least one of my boys is mature enough to start a family." Anya laughed.
"Yeah, Don't expect Breeze or Luca to mate anytime soon. Especially Breeze. He's a stubborn man and doesn't take interest in love."
"Of all my sons, I was expecting the eldest to mate first." Hina sighed, cutting off unwanted thread by pulling at it and biting it off. "He's already twenty one. Sometimes I think he'll never find a lover." Hina folded the finished blanket. It's bright blues and soft yellows seemed to glow.
"Be patient with him, birth father. He is future chief. He's like father. He wants someone gorgeous and one of a kind." Hina blushed lightly, tugging at a strand of his unique platinum blonde hair.
"You're right.." He smiled lightly. "If you can, tell Nita to come in to help with meals. You're father and the boys should be back shortly." Anya nodded, hugging Hina before pulling the flap of deerskin aside to the entrance. Hina knelt on the dirt ground, throwing in a log to the fire. He stared into the bright flames, almost day dreaming. "Please spirits.." He started to pray. "Let my son, Breeze find the one he's looking for. I know you have something in store for his future."
