"P-please, make it stop! I-it hurts!" Rehanah cried out. Tears streaming down his small face. His birth father held him down as Rin lifted up his legs and placed a cloth underneath. It immediately soaked up all the blood.

"You are going to have to push Rehanah." Rin looked up at him from the end of the bed. Rehanah shook his head. His birth father keeping him from getting up.

"I-I..i c-can't!"

"Rehanah, honey you have to." Rehanah shook his head once again, looking over at Duran. He only crossed his arms and glared at his son.

"He'll kill my baby if I do." Rehanah cried out once more before falling silent. His bright green eyes slowly faded into grey. His birth father started to cry, shaking his sons limp body.

"No! Rehanah wake up! Wake up!" He looked over at Rin who shook his head, looking down.

"He's gone." His eyes widened. He hugged the body of his only son, not wanting to let go. Duran came over, laying a hand on his mates shoulder.

"We could try for another son?"

"I-I can't!" He slapped Duran's hand away. "I can't have no more children. Rehanah was the only one." Duran looked away, turning his back. He stared at his now red hand.

"He's telling the truth, Duran. His body can't handle another."

"Leave Rin. You have nothing to do with this." Duran started to pace the floor while his mate kept kept crying on his knees.

"If you can't give me another son, then I think it's time I find another mate."

"No!" Duran was about to walk out, but he stopped him. "Why are you doing this? Did you really say you would kill Rehanah's baby?! You forced him to give up and die, so you wouldn't be able to kill it!" Duran simply shook him off and pulled the animal skin to the entrance aside.

"It's the way of life." He walked out, leaving everything behind.

"I'm so sorry, Breeze. Rehanah died this morning from child birth." Hina hugged his son. "He can't play anymore." Breeze's eyes went wide when he heard the news. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"C-childbirth.." he stuttered, holding back tears.

"He was only a young boy." Hina had started to cry. "Breeze, He was only fourteen!" Hina stroked the long strands of Breeze's hair, comforting him. But it didn't help. Breeze knew that child was his. He would've been a father.

"B-birth father?" Breeze started. Hina looked up at him.

"What is it, son?" The tears Breeze was holding back couldn't be held back no more. He bursted out into tears right in front of him.

"Rehanah and I had mated! It's my fault that he's dead!" Hina's eyes widened. He held Breeze tight.

"It's not your fault, Breeze." Breeze cried into his birth fathers shoulder, gripping onto his shirt. "You loved him, I know. It's not your fault and he knows that."

Hina guided Breeze half way to the small grave they buried Rehanah. People watched him place the flowers down and fall to his knees in tears. They all now knew that Breeze and Rehanah had mated. The rain beat down on his body.

"I'm sorry, Rehanah. I should've known." Obion came up to him and laid a hand on his back, rubbing soothing circles.

"Let's get you home. You'll catch a cold out in this rain." Breeze nodded, wiping his face and following him home. As everyone walked away to there homes, Rehanah appeared a top the stone. A warm glow surrounded his new body.

"I'll see you soon, my love." He pressed down on his now flat stomach and sighed. "I'm sorry."
