It looked like something from a dream one might've had when they were young. The white walls of the buildings glistened in the late afternoon sun and birds of many types dodged the different shaped roofs. Kaliam's eyes widened, seeing how the people of this little town looked. Men at the dock wore nothing but trousers. Their bodies sweaty from lifting crates all day. There were also men who looked looked like women. With their curved, skinny bodies almost completely showing. And long hair that went to their knees even in a braid.
"People really love to show off here." Kaliam said as they passed a group of feminine men who were playing with another. They only wore a silk bikini on their lower half and a belly shirt that was see through, so their whole chest was seen. A matching silk scarf was placed around their heads and hid their mouths. Jewels and bells decorated their sexual outfits. Breeze nodded, trying not to look in their direction as if their beauty would put him under some spell. Like a siren of some kind.
"We better find a place to stay before I'm seduced."
"You better not be!" Breeze grinned, looking over his shoulder at Kaliam.
"That was a joke." Kaliam crossed his arms and pouted.
Other than people in the town dressing sexual. They were also quite nice. Especially when they found out that Kaliam was expecting. At least four people offered a place for them, while others gifted them with food and clothing. Soon enough they had a small one room house with a bunch of gifts everywhere. Breeze changed out to a more revealing outfit because of how hot it was. The black, sleeveless shirt he now wore was skintight and showed off every muscle. It also seemed to make them pop out more for when Breeze bent down to pick up one of the many clay pots, Kaliam's face flushed red. Kaliam never noticed how slim and muscular his mate was because of all the animal skins he usually wore. There were also scars that he never seen before. Most of them were on his shoulders, but there was one large one going across his collarbone. That one seemed to have been really deep and it concerned Kaliam.
"How did you get all those scars?" Breeze stopped what he was doing and sighed.
"When I was young, my father forced me to go on a hunt when I was only thirteen." He began to talk as he kept unpacking their things. Kaliam who was sitting on the bed, rubbing soothing circles into the sides of his bulging belly looked over at him.
"You went with all those huge men on a hunt?!" Breeze nodded, taking out yet another large fleece and refolded it on a wooden rack.
"We were hunting wild boar and I got rammed by one. It punctured me right here." Breeze ran his fingers across the bumpy surface of his biggest scar. "I was hurt really badly and nearly died. But somehow I didn't."
"You must be really lucky." Breeze chuckled softly.
"Yeah, I guess so." Breeze sighed. All he could think of while remembering his near death experience was Rehanah. With his beautiful green hair that seemed to glow and sway in the wind. How beautiful he had looked while floating above his bed.
