Asriel was staring at the bed of buttercups growing underneath him. He picked one flower up and held it in his hand. This was probably the fiftieth time that he had been doing this. Frisk had reseted many times in the past during a true pacifist route, each time returning to the surface empty-handed. Asriel had known this since they'd first reseted. He was counting down the seconds until he and Frisk met again. Three...two...one, his mind counted down as he faced Frisk again. He instantly dropped the flower, making it fall gracefully towards the ground. "I know what you are going to ask, Frisk," he sighed with a heavy heart, "There is no way you can bring me to the surface."

His eyes were pained and drained of hope as he sighed again. On the other hand, though, Frisk had walked up to him, gripping their chest as their soul popped out. "Please Azzy, just take my soul and go up to them," They said sincerely with tears streaming down their face. "You need to go back to your family, with Mom and Dad, they need you-" they continued," And they don't need me..."

"Of course they need you, Frisk," Asriel said, pushing Frisk's soul towards them. "The things is that they don't need me, they don't want me, heck, if they knew what I had done to them, to all of the monsters in the underground, they will all get mad at me, and even mom and dad will disown me. I just can't, Frisk. You deserve to exist in this world more than I do."

"And you do too." Frisk sighed and took their soul back."You know, we both have done bad things." Frisk said, remembering many resets ago, when nothing was left in the underground. The horrible thought sent a shiver down Frisk's spine. "But that doesn't mean that we can't be forgiven. Besides, that was all in the past. There's no need to worry about it." They smiled and picked up a bouquet of buttercups. Shoving it towards Asriel made him smile a bit, but it was gone as soon it was shown.

"If you think that was going to change my choice then your wrong," Asriel chuckled. He grabbed the flowers and planted them back in the ground. "You should get going, and I should water these flowers." Frisk turned around and sighed heavily and walked toward the entrance. "If only we could both go out together."

"Yeah, if only. If only you could split your soul in half so that we each could. Then if you did, we could just frolic in the fields on the surface, having no problems whatsoever." Asriel said sarcastically and went back to staring at the buttercups below him. That's when Frisk had realized something. An idea sprouted into their brain as they ran back to Asriel. They put both of their hands on Asriel's shoulder and began shaking him. "Asriel, you are a genius." Frisk shouted.

"C-c-c-can y-y-y-you s-s-s-stop s-s-s-shaking m-m-me" Asriel stuttered as Frisk shook him out of control. "Oh, sorry Azzy." Frisk realized and stopped shaking him. "Heh, I kind of lost it didn't I"

"But why did you just shake me all of a sudden,"

"Because you gave me this idea," Frisk said as they summoned their soul. It started to glow very much as they put their hands on it. A flash of light began to fill the entire room as both Asriel and Frisk shielded their eyes. Suddenly, both of them fainted from the power being absorbed into their body.

The light had been seen by the whole underground. Sans, Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, and Asgore had all been consumed by light. The light, though very bright, didn't last very long. It had disappeared as quick as it lit up. All of them were frozen in place as they looked, shocked by the sudden flash. Undyne was the first to speak up. "What the heck happened," she asked looking at the others.
