CHAPTER 2
The final bell rings, I basically run out of the class. Glaze was still running around in my head. Why did she completely ignore me? What was her problem?
'Hey babe'
I turn around to see Chelsea walking on my arm. How did she even get here?
'Sooo, you comin' to Trevor's party this weekend?'
'Nope'
Chelsea sighs and grabs my hand and pulls me to a wall to stop. She drops my hand.
'Listen Dylan, Alexandra thinks your no good for me. You need to prove her wrong. Come to the party with me. We can always leave early.'
I look at Chelsea, like really look at her. She is such an idiot, like I care what anyone else thinks of me. Chelsea is still standing there, waiting for me to answer. Her beach blonde hair has been pulled into a 'messy' ponytail and she has replied her cake face makeup.
'Chelsea, I'll be honest with you. I don't give a flying fuck about what anyone else thinks. If I don't want to go to a party, I won't fuckin' go.'
Chelsea looks at me wide eyed, her blue orbs looking like they could pop out if her heard. Suddenly she bursts out laughing and grabs my hand.
'Ohh babe that's so sweet that you don't care what anyone else thinks of our relationship. This is why I love you so much!'
Chelsea wraps her arms around my waist and snuggles into her chest. Not knowing what to do I wrap my arms around her awkwardly. Sometimes I wonder what I get myself into.
Chelsea and I sit down at our table, when Jude's mouth drops.
'Holy shit, who is that?'
I turn around to see him drooling over Glaze. Bloody Glaze. That girl is everywhere.
'She's not even that hot,' said Alexandra.
'Babe, what are you on about she is fuckin' smokin,' replied Trevor. Alexandra gives him a glare.
'I mean she's not hot.'
'Pussy,' Nick states.
'I call dibs, you guys understand, D-I-B-S,' Jude exclaims.
'Yeah, we get it, now grow some balls and go talk to her,' Lucy tells Jude.
'That's exactly what I'm going to do!' Jude stands up from the table and walks over to Glaze's table.
Jude grabs a seat and sits down right next to her. She doesn't even look up. Jude hits her arm with his elbow, and only then does her eyes reach his. An exchange of words is shared before he stands up and walks to our table. He takes a seat and smiles.
'What did she say?' I ask.
'That is a secret between me and Glaze.'
Everyone on the table scoffs and starts teasing that she rejected him. While everyone laughs and gossips my attention turns to Glaze. After about a minute of staring at her, she turns her head and looks straight into my eyes. Our gaze holds for a second before it's broken.
'Babe what are you looking at?' Chelsea asks me.
'Nothing,' I turn my head back to her before looking back at Glaze. She's gone.

'Hey bro, you coming to the party this weekend?' Jude asks me as we walk home.
'No, why does everyone keep asking me?'
'We're just worried. I mean it's been two years, TWO years. Isn't time to get over it?'
'I am over it, I'm just cleaning up the place,' I say off the top of my head.
'Cool, then I'll help you.'
'No you won't.'
'Yes I will, I'll skip the party to help you clean up. That is what you're doing right?' Jude asks sarcastically. I don't even try; I just walk off in the direction of my house while Jude follows.
