Epilogue

My fingers trace the keys atop my new laptop Felix bought me for my birthday. So far, for all forty five days that I've had it, it's worked amazingly. And as you would expect, the first game I put into it was, of course, Minecraft.

As I sit, mining blocks, I hear Felix walk into my office. I turn my head, pausing the game, to see him coming towards me but mostly so a creeper doesn't sneak up on me and blow my character to bits.

"Hey, ready for the convention?" He asks, bending over and placing a kiss on my mouth. I smile, holding his head, pulling it a little closer to mine. A few weeks ago, Felix was invited to a Youtube convention to do a short stage show just a few minutes away from where we live.

"Uh huh." I mumble against him. For the past few months, everyday has been perfect with him. Not one single fight between us. Although, there is the usual bickering in which case, Felix always finds a way to pick me up and kiss me to make everything better, even on my bad days.

Felix pulls away, leaving my recording studio and letting me get back to my game. Since the convention is on in an hour, I still have a good thirty minutes to continue playing. Marzia and Felix finally persuaded me to start my own youtube channel. It's actually not doing all that bad with 800,000 subscribers. My videos are mostly gaming ones, as you might tell, but on Fridays, Felix and I get together to do two collaboration videos. One for his channel. And one for mine.

When Felix, Marzia and I went to meet my family back in London, we had a meet up with Simon, Lewis and my cousins, Jack and Finn. Even though I'm not related to Lewis in anyway, my family still managed to talk me into getting a channel. So far, I've started earning money off of it and am still doing my course at university. Life's good.

Me, my family and friends have been keeping in touch via Skype now. Usually, I used to only use it for talking to Cry, but now, I can talk to my parents and best friend Avery. Still using Skype, I talk to my Call of Duty Team, discussing games we need to play in order to win yet another championship. About a month ago, we all had to head to LA to compete in a capture the flag competition and we ended up smashing everyone there, earning us the title of best team in all of the world. Me, being the Captain, was presented with a golden bullet trophy that now sits behind me on my 'Shelf of Gaming stuff."

I press back to game, getting straight into my hardcore gaming realm, which tends to happen alot. I go into a state where I don't hear anything but my game. You would have to hit me on the back of my head to try and talk to me.

But something does break me out of my trance. And no, I didn't get smashed in the head. It was actually nothing physical at all. It was some text in the corner of my screen.

My eyes trail to the chat and I read one tiny sentence that changes my emotions immediately.

Tobuscus has joined the game.

My heart stops.

"There's no way..." As my stomach rises into my throat I try to tell myself it was just my imagination, but as I check the history of my chatbox...there it is..plain as day.

I haven't spoken or heard from Toby ever since his letter to me. That was two years ago. Now this is happening and I can't comprehend it. What is going on? My heartbeat accelerates in anticipation, threatening to rip out of my chest.

Another flash of writing comes, this time he talks to me. The first ever kind of communication between the two of us.

'Look out your window ;)'

I freeze. Suddenly filled with so much excitement that he could be outside my house at this very moment, the thought send my brain spinning.

Out of pure eagerness and curiosity, I follow his instruction, I pull back my closed curtain with trembling hands.
