Light's POV: Dylan's seemed a lot better this morning. I quickly got dressed, ate breakfast and was dropped off at school. I slung my backpack over my shoulder. It was my first official day. "Hey." A girl said. I looked over and said "h-hey." "You new?" She asked. I nodded and she hopped off the picnic table she was sitting on. "Can I see your schedule?" She said. I handed it to her and her eyes scanned over it. "I'm in your first class. I could show you around if you want." The girl said. I nodded and said "sure." She shook out her red curly hair and said "I'm Rocky." "Light." I replied. She furrowed her eyebrows and said "your name is Light? That's really fucking cool." I half smiled and said "thanks." "Come on. I'll show you around." She said. We walked towards the school and there were cheerleaders practicing. I looked over towards them. "Those are our lovely cheerleaders." Rocky said sarcastically. Three girls were hoisted up into the air, the girl the middle smoking a cigarette.

"They're bitches. Stay away from them." Rocky said as she sat down at a picnic table. "Aren't you going to show me around?" I asked. She nodded and said "when school starts. Everyone is just hanging around right now. It starts in a few minutes." I sat down and watched the cheerleaders practice their routine. The girls were lowered down onto the ground and the girl that was in the middle walked away from the other girls. "Mia! Where are you going?!" One said. She walked away and exhaled on her cigarette. She looked at me through the fence. Her hair blew in the wind and she moved it out of her face. She put her cigarette out and walked away from the gate, staring at me as she did so.
