Light's POV:
I woke up in my bedroom, drenched in sweat. It had to be 2:30 in the morning. I threw my blanket off me and reached under my bed, grabbing my bong. I lit it up and smoked the marijuana inside. I turned on some music, trying to drown out my thoughts. The feeling of being high kinda made me forget about everything. My sister said not to smoke it but I haven't in a long time. This would be my first time in months. I exhaled, watching the smoke slowly wither away. There was a knock at my window. I stood up and walked over. Mia was standing on the roof. "How'd you get up here?" I asked as I opened the window. She looked at me nervously and said "I had a nightmare. I'm assuming you did too." I shrugged and she came into my room. "Ugh, you reek." "I was smoking. Want some?" Mia shook her head and said "no. I'll fall asleep and then he'll get me." I rolled my eyes and said "so you came here cause you were scared?" Mia sat down on my bed and said "kinda." "Do you want a drink? There's some vodka under my bed." Mia nodded quickly and I poured her a cup. She began to down it and a chuckle escaped my lips. "Slow down." Mia and I were silent for a few minutes, I let the weed take over my system. "God, how much did you do?" Mia asked as she made me look at her. "Not much. Just half a blunt." Mia pulled her knees to her chest and downed another cup of vodka. I went to kiss her cheek and she pushed me away. I laughed as I fell onto my back, Mia staring daggers at me."Give me a kiss." "No. You're high." "And you're drunk." Mia rolled her eyes and stood up, sitting in a chair across the room. Then I passed out.

I woke up about an hour later. I looked around and saw Mia looking at me. "You're alive. I figured you'd pass out and die." She said. "Gee, thanks." I replied irately. She giggled and I said "have you seen Freddy since when you shot him?" Mia shook her head and said "nope. Have you?" "I saw him earlier. He was messing with Holly." I ran a hand through my hair and sighed. Last time Mia and I were alone we had a fight so I didn't want that to happen again. "Can you go? We don't get along. Rocky was right about you." Mia looked at me and said "Light, I don't wanna go. I want to stay here with you." I shook my head and didn't say anything.
