The Gate

Summer's POV:
"Dylan!" I called out. I looked all around and couldn't find him. "Mom!" James said. "James! Where are you?" Nova yelled back. Porter and I ran to where Nova's voice was coming from and we were met with James hugging his mother. Klaus stepped out from behind the wall and my eyes widened. "Oh my god." I said. "Summer. Hey." He said. Nova stood up, letting go of James. "K-Klaus." She said. He half smiled at me and then looked at Nova. "That's your son. And your husband." "Who is this?" Porter asked. "That's who she was with before you. Before the hospital. Do you remember playing for a party? The Talbots." I said to him. Porter's eyes widened and he said "holy shit." Klaus nodded and James said "he's been keeping me safe since Holly and Dylan pulled us in." Klaus stepped to Nova and hugged her. She hugged him back and he said "I didn't think I'd see you ever again. Since I died." Nova pulled away and said "me neither." "We gotta close the gate. Before it's too late." Klaus quickly said. Clarissa was next to me and Michael appeared next to Porter. "We were pulled in." Clarissa looked at the dream world and said "let's finish this." We all walked into a room which had a slide to go down. Klaus shrugged and said "you gotta go down it." He slid down first then James then Nova. I went after Nova and Porter was after me. A scream was heard, it was Holly. "Holly." James said as he looked around. "Woah what the fuck is this?" Light's friend asked. Light said "Rocky, what're you doing here?" "We didn't ask to be here." Rex said. "They were pulled in." Michael said. "Mom!" It was Dylan. I stepped forward and went into another room which had a furnace in it. The opening was big enough for Dylan to get inside but not me. Freddy stuck his arm inside and was trying to reach Dylan. I could see that Dylan was as far away as he could be. I ran over, looking for a way to get inside. Dylan has scooted over to my side and I reached for him. He grabbed my hand and said "mom. Get me out of here." The bars were separating us and Freddy moved toward Dylan, opening his mouth wide. Dylan screamed as Freddy got closer. He was trying to eat him.

My mouth hung agape and someone hit Freddy with a large weapon, causing him to move out of the furnace. That was Dylan's chance to get out. He crawled out of the furnace and ran over to me. I hugged him and held him tightly to me. "Mom, I wanna leave. We need to leave right now. Right now." Dylan said as his face was buried into my chest. Freddy looked over at Dylan and I, making his way toward us. Michael stood in front of us and used his dream power, air pushing Freddy away from us. Clarissa used a hallucination to trick Freddy into thinking Dylan was on the other side of the room. Light inflicted pain on him and Freddy yelled. "Summer! Get to Holly! Help her close the gate!" Light said. Porter walked over and said "I'm coming with you." "Dylan, stay with James and Nova." I said. He looked up at me and shook his head. "Mom, don't leave me. Please." "Dylan. We'll be ok. I promise." James said as he grabbed Dylan's hand. Dylan let go of me and clung to his best friend. Porter and I began running away from Freddy, as everyone ganged up on him. "James? Dylan? Hello? Someone?" Holly's voice echoed. "Holly." Porter whispered. "Help! Someone please! James! James!" Holly screamed. Porter ran towards the end of the hall and Holly was standing in the middle of the room, the room on fire. Holly had tears streaming down her face and Porter used his powers, turning everything into ice. Holly gasped as the room turned into ice. "It's ok, Holly." I said. Porter ran over to her, trying not to slip on the ice. He hugged her, picking her up off the ground. She clung to him and he said "you're ok. We gotta close the gate. That's what's important. If we close it, Freddy will die with it." Holly nodded against his shoulder and said "ok." He set her down and we began walking to where the gate would be. "That way." Riley said. Porter gulped and Holly whimpered. "Keep going." J.D said as blood came running down his face. Porter grabbed Holly and didn't let her look. "Close the gate. Close the gate. Close the gate." Joey and Kincaid said at the same time. We entered a hall that was dark, the white orbs flying around. "This is it." The voices said. It was everyone Freddy had killed before. "Close it. Quickly. They won't be able to hold him off forever." Ivy said. I frowned at her and someone said "Holly." She turned around and said "yes?"
