James's POV: Dylan was discharged but I didn't go see him. I decided to stay home. I've been sleeping in Holly's room. On the floor. It makes me feel close to her somehow. That might seem lame but it feels better to be in the same room with her than to be on the other side of the house.

I looked around. The dream world. "Shit." The room was dark but had a little bit of lighting. I got to the end of the walkway and saw Freddy standing there. He held his claw behind his back. He wasn't facing me. I knew that he knew I was behind him. His chuckle bounced off the walls eerily. "How nice to see you again, James." He turned around and faced me. "Leave Holly alone. Take me instead." I said.

A smirk appeared on his face. "Well, I might let you try to get her back. But you'll have to do it yourself. You'll never be able to do it." Freddy said while shrugging. "I'll do whatever it takes." I replied boldly. Freddy titled his head and said "even if it ends in death?" I gulped while nodding. "Since that's how you wanna do it. But let's play some games first." He said. I eyed him and Freddy looked at my hand while laughing. I looked down to see his claw on my hand. I brought it up to my face, screaming as I looked at it. "Get it off!" Freddy laughed hysterically and I stared at him in disbelief.

I tried to pull it off my hand but nothing happened. I was then transported to a cliff. I looked around and Freddy stood a few feet away. "What is this?!" I said. "This is your choice. Jump off the cliff and Holly comes back into the real world." Freddy said. I noticed that he had his claw back. "And if I don't?" "Then she stays here with me." He replied. I took a deep breath and walked toward the cliff. I turned around to look at him. He had his arms in the air, taunting me.
