Clarissa's POV:
I woke up gasping and screaming. It was late at night. I made small pretty lights appear into my room. Even though it was a hallucination. It made me feel a little bit better. I picked up my phone and wanted to call someone. I remembered Michael's number was in my phone. My finger hovered over his contact name, I was trying to decide if I should call him. I tapped the screen and it began to ring. "Hello?" Michael's voice entered the phone after a few rings. "Could you do me a favor? I need someone to talk to. I know we don't talk much but I'd like to open up to you. If you'll let me. Can I give you my address and you can come by?" I asked. It was silent and I said "Michael?" "Yeah I'm here. I'm just kinda shocked that you'd call me. I figured you had lots of friends to confide in. I'm actually kinda glad you called me. Cause I have something to talk to you about too." He replied. I gave him my address and hung up. I went to the kitchen and made some tea. I didn't want caffeine this late at night. There was a small knock on my door. I opened the apartment door and there stood Freddy. My eyes widened and he said "still asleep!" I screamed and sat up at the dining room table. "Oh my god." I said as I covered my face.

I shook my head and wiped tears I didn't know had fallen

I shook my head and wiped tears I didn't know had fallen. I took deep breaths, slowly calming myself down. The tea kettle whistled. I stood up and took it off the stove and began to make it. A knock at the door broke my attention away from the tea. I walked to the door slowly. I opened it and Michael stood there. "Hey." He said. "You came." I whispered. He nodded and said "of course. You sounded scared. That's why I'm here." A small smile appeared on my face and I looked down, trying to hide my blush.
