Summer's POV:
I woke up to start the day and send Dylan off to school. I headed downstairs and began cooking breakfast and I heard singing. Dylan was singing, which was something he rarely did. I stood on the stairs, hiding behind the wall."1,2 Freddy's coming for you
3,4 better lock your door
5,6 grab your crucifix
7,8 gonna stay up late
9,10...."I walked into the kitchen and said "where did you hear that song?" Dylan didn't say anything and I said "Dylan? I asked you a question." His back was to me and I walked over and stood in front of him. He stared at the ground and I knelt down to his level. I waved my hand in front of his face. He blinked and continued to stare at the ground. "Honey? What's wrong?" I said to him. Dylan didn't reply and it scared me. He blinked again and I cupped his cheek. "Baby?" I asked him. It was silent for another couple of minutes. He looked like he was in a trance. I stood up and went to grab my phone and he said something, something I hoped to never hear him say. "Never sleep again." He said.
"Dylan? Honey, where did you hear that song? Answer me!" I said. He looked up at me and I knelt back down. "Dylan! Tell me where you heard that song!" He furrowed his eyebrows and said "mom what're you talking about?" Light stood in the doorway of the kitchen and I said "you were singing a song. You don't remember?" "I was singing? Why was I singing?" He asked me. I went to answer him and the phone rang. "Light could you start making the eggs please?" I asked him. He nodded and walked over to the fridge. I picked up the house phone and Justin said "you didn't answer your phone." I took the phone in the other room and said "I was busy with Dylan. Something's up with him." "What do you mean? He's sick?" Justin asked. I peeked around the corner to see Dylan staring at the ground.
