Monday morning Connor moved angrily through the halls in search of Jared. He glared at every passer by, causing them to shrivel up in fear of his dark aura. A low growl could be heard as he spotted the short boy.  Jared's eyes grew wide as Connor took Kleinman by the shirt and shoved him to a locker, the impact made Jared's arm pop at the pressure. Connor smirked and trapped Jared with his arms against the locker. "So you want to touch my man and get away with it huh? His lips are mine to kiss not yours." Connor gruffly said to him. His voice in a low growl and he said the words out loud. Jared suddenly grew confidence. "What is Evan liked it. Besides Connor, I do what I like. " Jared shoved Connor away from and started to walk down the hall. Connor frowned and pulled Jared by the collar of his shirt and slammed him down to the cold marble tiled floor. Jared grunted at the pain as his face made contact with the floor.  Connor sat over him and started to beat Jared's face with his fist. "YOU. DON'T. TOUCH. EVAN. AGAIN." He screeched as he continued to pound Jared's face.

Evan was walking down the hall when he noticed a cluster of students cheering and taking videos with their phones. Evan out of curiosity started to push through the crowd. His face stretched with horror as he witnessed a bloody scene starring Connor and Jared. "STOP! CONNOR NO!" Evan ran toward the center of the circle and tried to pull Connor off of Jared's chest.  Evan gripped at Connors arm only to be shoved away to a locker. Connor began to beat Jared mercilessly. A teacher pulled Connor with great difficulty off of Jared. "YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!" the teacher screamed at the students. He looked at Evan, switching glances to Connor and a bloody Jared. "The two of you go to the principles office.. Now. " the teacher said with anger. He released Connor and looked at Evan. "Could escort them please. Thank you." The teacher walked down the hall in a temperment, mumbling under his breath something about delinquents.

Evan walked Connor to the office where Jared and the principle were already talking. Evan flinched when Connor touched his shoulder. "Why were you fighting Jared, Connor?" Evan asked, his face to the ground. Connor shrugged, "Because he touched you Evan. How could I not.." Connor reached a hand out to stroke Evans cheek. Evan moved away from his touch. "You hurt my best friend Connor. Regardless of what he did, he is still my friend. " Evan moved toward the door.. one of his hands was balled into a fist, the pressure turning his knuckles white. "I wont be speaking for awhile.." Evan walked out the door. Leaving Connor in a room of silence..

Evan laid in his bed, his phone blipped every 5 seconds. he sighed and looked down at his phone. Connor.. Connor.. Connor... and more Connor.

THE MILK MAN <3 : Evan.. I am sorry.. I really am..

THE MILK MAN <3: Evan come on.

THE MILK MAN <3: He had it coming. I couldnt just let it pass.

THE MILK MAN <3: I got in trouble.. I have detention for a week...

THE MILK MAN <3: Babe.. please? I love you.

THE MILK MAN <3: Dont leave me...

Evan growled under his breath and shut off his phone. He moved off his bed and into the living room. Evan's brain was racing miles per second. His thoughts jumbled together in a giant mess of insanity. He didn't know how to think of this situation.

He understood why Connor did what he did.. Could he blame him? He was only doing what any animal would have done. What any human would have done, defending what he loved and what was his.

Evan also felt... Jared was his best friend. And was his only friend for the longest time. But what he did.... Evan felt his face heat up in embarrassment. Jared did steal a kiss.. which was wrong..

"Mom? " Evan said as he peaked his head into his mothers room. "I am going out now.. " She groaned in response, her face covered by her blanket. Evan moved away from her room and went toward the front door. The only thought on his mind was...

I need to get away..
