"Hey Jared.."
Connor stood in the door way, his body leaned against the frame. His clothes smelled of weed and blood. Jared didn't question why.. but it wasn't hard to put two and two together.."Connor." Jared said, no emotion came with his words, only the harsh noise of deadpan silence. "Evan looks pretty bad." Connor said, his glazed eyes looked over the hospital bed where lied the broken Evan Hansen...
"Is that all you have to say Connor?" Jared pushed his glasses up his nose in defiance. "Its almost as if you don't care." Connor glared at Jared. "You should keep your voice down, Jared. You might wake up the whole hospital.."
Jared glared at Connor from behind his thick framed glasses, an equal amount of defiance coming from Jared. "I think it is your fault he is like this Connor. " Connor chuckled and crossed his arms across his chest. "And how is it my fault? You touched what was mine. And you will pay for that Jared. " He grinned, the shadows of the room shaded his face grimly, "Trust me. I will."
Jared felt a small pang of fear enter his heart, but he tried his best to keep his face confident. "And what the hell can you do, pot head?" Jared got up from where he was and tried to look eye level at Connor. Jared barely stood up to Connor's collarbone. "Yea sure. I wouldn't talk tough if I were you." Connor pushed Jared to the floor with quick force, causing Jared to fall on his side and bring a chair down with him. "Especially when you can't take the pressure. Evan probably did this on purpose, because of you he doesn't want to live because you defiled his innocence with your fucking evil nature." Connor turned abruptly and walked out of the solid white room. Jared breathed in the sterile air angrily and growled in frustration."He has to go. He has to go." Jared repeated over and over as if in a trance. The beeping of the life support machine matched his own angry heart beat. "I will get rid of him for good!" Jared picked up the chair and swung it across the room and into the window smashing the glass across the floor and down into the parking lot.
Jared slumped to the floor and started to cry, all the stress and the anger from the situation finally sweeping over his mind in a fog. He sat on the cold hard tile hospital floor, the cold resonated with his soul.
"I have a plan.." Jared whispered, removing his glasses. "I will take him down for good."
