Chapter 8: Pardus

*Pardus POV*

I rarely take over once Jasmine phases but this is important, I needed some way to release this anger that I feel at what happened: Jacob Black, what a fool! He would hurt Jasmine just for a girl who's only using him. He'll have to learn the hard way that sometimes love can be a battlefield. The more I think about it, the harder I run through the forest.

Right now I'm just running instinctively, I skid to a stop and sniff the air.

Even though it's faint, I can tell that the scent is bleach making my nose scrunch up I don't want to leave anything to chance so I take off following the scent, soon I arrive at the edge of the forest just in time to see that it's the Bella Swan girl actually talking...talking of all things!

To a vampire as if they're friends!

Did this girl have some sort of death wish?!

It looks like I wasn't the only who detected the scent, because soon a pack of wolves emerge from the center taking the vampire and the girl by surprise.

The enemorus black wolf, who I assumed to be the alpha charged first only to be flung back making me scoff.

Fool! They'll never get the upper hand by charging blindly.

Before the alpha and the others can make their move, I eagerly pounce on the unsuspecting vampire after I made sure that he was far away from the girl.

I never gave him the chance to attack as I removed each limb starting with his head, then I tear apart his body making sure that he won't be able to reassemble right away.

Once I was done, I turned my head towards my audience and they seemed to be flabbergasted.

My eyes traveled over each wolf and my gaze lingered on the russet wolf before I take off into the woods so I can let Jasmine take the reigns again.
