Chapter 9

Paiges Pov

I wake up and look around. Its dark outside.

"where are we?" I ask Jalen

"I'm not sure, somewhere in Illinois" he replies

"What!?" "ILLINOIS!?" "I went to sleep in Indiana and woke up in Illinois, Great.." I mumble

"We had to get out of there, it seems like the farther we drive the worse it gets!" he says

"Oh.. That's wonderful." I say rolling my eyes.

"Sorry babe, go back to sleep ill wake you when we Stop" he replies with a smile

"alright baby" I say yawning

BJs Pov

I look down and Ravens asleep.

she's so cute when she's sleeping.

she stretches and yawns

she looks up at me and smiles 

"Do you want me to drive?" she says

"Nahh babe, I'm fine" I reply

"Okaay, im just going to go back to.."

I look down and she fell back asleep

I need to sleep.. hopefully were not driving much longer

I pull out my phone and call Nakia and Jalen

him and Lanya are in the car in front of us, Paige and Jalen behind us.

"Wassup?" they say

"How much longer until we can stop, I've been driving all night and need to sleep!" I say yawning

"I think there's a hotel up ahe- dang Nakia why'd you slam on your brakes"! Jalen says

"Guys!! I found Preston!!"

"What!?" Jalen yells. 

"Yeah!" "along the rode"

"he can ride with us" Jalen says

Preston gets in the back of Jalens car, Paige is in the back asleep

"Hey Kid!" Preston says play hitting Paige to wake her up

"Preston!" She yells

"Guys im still here but anyway we'll stop in a bit" Nakia says hanging up

Paiges Pov

i had the biggest crush on him in junior high but I didn't know how he felt.

"So anyway other than the "apocalypse" how's everything?" he says smiling with his big white teeth. His smiles soo cute.

"good good" I say smiling back

I couldn't help but stare into his big brown eyes I want to hug him again but Jalen was In the front seat and I don't really want to listen to his shit tonight.

We all pull over and the boys go inside to check for, well im not sure what to call them.

but anyway they come back out and say it's safe so we all go inside. Raven and Bj go in there room. Nakia and Lanya go in there's. Jalen walks in a room.

"You coming?" he says smiling

"what about Preston?" I reply

"whatever, im going to bed. You two have fun together"  he says

"Ja-" he slams the door.

I feel Preston grab me from behind and starts tickling me. he always knows how to make me feel better.

he opens the door to a room and throws me on the bed and continues tickling me. Were pretty far down from everyone else so hopefully No one here's us and thinks stuff.

-Get your head out of the gutters, He's just tickling her.-

I think I'm starting to fall for him again.

"Preston, stop!!" I yell while laughing

"Okay, okay!" he chuckles back

I'm still laying on the bed and He's standing over me. He turns around and I jump on his back and push him on the bed. We start wrestling and then I kiss him.. I didn't mean to but it just happened!  I pull away..

"I-I'm sorry.." I say

he says nothing he just leans in and continues the kiss. it felt soo right. He's like a cuddly Teddy bear!

eventually we stop and I get on one side of the bed and he gets on the other. We get under all the covers. I shut my eyes.. but i I feel him wrap his arms around my waist and pulls me close. I would be more worried about someone walking in but the door was locked so what's the worst that could happen. We shut the lights off and drift off..

this has been the best night I've had in awhile.. I just wish It would never end. I want it to be like this every night!
