CHAPTER 1:
We are now moving to our new house. Since I was a kid, we'd moved around a lot in apartments while my parents saved up so we could have a house of our own. This is not new to me. In fact, I consider this as a routine of our family. Hindi ko na din mabilang kung ilang beses kaming lumipat lipat. But, this day I can say "Finally! We have moved to our OWN new house." Yes, it's not brand new someone else lived here before. Actually, tall trees scattered everywhere is the first thing you will notice if you would pass by. Halatang halata na matagal nang walang nakatira.
I heard my phone ring as I answered "Hello?" It turned out to be Tina, my best friend since we're in diapers. We've been together for so long we've shared laughters, ups and downs in our lives and nothing broke us apart. Until, this happened. We need to go to Toontown because dad's work was designated here for good. This would be the first time we're going to be apart. Dati ang mga lipat namin mga dalawa hanggang anim na kanto lang pero ngayon, di hamak na malayo ang Toontown.
"Jane! Have you reached Toontown?"
"Yes, it's a long.. long.... long.. trip. By the way, bat ka nga pala napatawag?"
"I just called to check up on you. I'm glad that you are safe."
"Tina, I'm fine, and I'm with my parents so you don't have to worry. In fact, we are excited to fix and renovate things. You know what?there are lots of tall trees here pero sabi ni mama mas maganda sigurong wag nang putulin yung mga nasa likod."
"Hmm.. Well I guess it a good spot to to relax that's why she don't want to cut those down. How about your schooling, Have you already enrolled?"
"Yes. In fact the start of our school would be next month."
"Goodluck, I hope you would find someone like me there. HAHA. O sya, sige na baka madami kayong ginagawa. Ingat palagi aa?"
"Oo naman. Take care Tina."
That's my bestfriend. Personality na talaga niya yung laging nag aalala. She was so caring friend of mine which is one of her characteristics that I loved the most. Sometimes I feel like I have a boyfriend because of the way she treated me. I also tried to fool her. Asking her "Baka matomboy ka saakin aa?" And she snorted saying "uyy mandiri ka naman." We just laugh at ourselves then.
Me and my family are always happy. Minsan mo lang kaming makikitang namomoblema kasi pag may problema nginingitian at ginagawan kaagad ng paraan. I guess I'm in a perfect family. I know in this new house with new environment and people around, I have lot of thing needed to adjust from. Not like in Quezta Verde you have neighbors. Here in Toontown, houses are apart from each other like the people here which makes me nervous to the up comming back to school next month.
By the way, before I forgot. I'm Jane Zonio 17 years old. Bago lang ako sa Toontown hindi ko alam kung anong mga ugali ng tao dito pero kahit kinakabahan, excited na ako mag pasukan. Sa CFS nga pala ako mag aaral. Their record was the best school for those who wanted to get criminology course in college which what I always wanted.
As mom called me "Jane!" So I went to her and asked "What was it?" I went upstairs carrying my things in a huge bag. She said that my room was there at the right side. Pagbukas ko ng pinto puro sapot at alikabok ang bumungad saakin. Binaba ko muna ang mga gamit ko. As I looked at the side of the room I saw a cabinet filled with dust. I went down to ask mom about the cabinet she told me that maybe it belongs to the owner of the house and I can use it for my clothes.
Days passed we just clean downstairs while dad cuts trees infront and fix some parts of the house. I was excited to use my room so I went up and sweep the floor. As I went closer to the cabinet I had a feeling. I was bothered. I opened it and i saw a paper with a note.....
