you were busy looking after your niece yeonhee, since your sister had to do some extra work in the office when your phone rang. you picked up your 2 year old sweetheart and picked up the call. "hello?" you answered. "hello?! y/n?!" the caller replies with a tone of urgency. "yes, y/n speaking. who is this?" "its seungcheol. im calling from the offices' phone. we need you here quick!!" "i cant seungcheol. im babysitting my niece. whats wrong? whats so urgent?" you furrowed your eyebrows. "minghao.. minghao, he injured his waist! hes making his way to the hospital with our manager!" your heart started beating rapidly.. your fiancé had just injure his waist and you had no one to look after yeonhee if you were to visit minghao right that moment.

after the phonecall with seungcheol ended you immediately called minghaos manager to check up on him. "hello! manager-nim! its me y/n. hows minghao?!" there were a few seconds of silence and passing before someone got to the phone. "hello?" i asked once more "hey babe. its me." "xu minghao! "its okay babe. im fine!" "youre not! youre lucky i cant come or else you would have it worse!" the sound of him giggling made you soften. "its okay y/n. ill be at your place in 2 hours. see you then alright? dont worry about me. im strong." he let out another small giggle. you sighed. "alright, ill see you in 2 hours. you better be back! i love you." "i will. i love you too. goodbye." and with that being said, the call ended.

you deeply sigh as you were still carrying your niece in your arms. "your uncle minghao is crazy." you say in a cute voice to yeonhee. it made her laugh. you sat her down on the baby walker and you busied yourself with cleaning up your shared apartment.

you looked at the clock and minghao has 5 minutes to get his ass back home before you start worrying over him more than you have at this second. you walked towards the couch to pick up your niece when you heard a knock at the door. "coming!" you made your way towards the door and opened it up just to find minghao standing infront of the door. "hey babe" he says as he engulfs you in a hug. you hug back, not as tight as you didnt want to squish your little sunshine in your arms. as you pulled away minghao closes the door and walked towards the living room. "you didnt tell me yeonhee was here." he says as he reaches out his arms wanting to have the baby in your arms, in his. you pass the baby and shake your head. you watch as minghao plays with yeonhee.

"babe, could you put her to sleep?" you look at minghao picking up the toys & plushies he used to play with yeonhee. "sure." he smiled and made his way to your guest room. you could hear him talk to the little baby and a smile creeped up your face. moments later you hear minghao close the bedroom door and walked towards the living room. you felt the sofa sank as he sat and his arms snake around you.

"care to explain yourself?" you pulled away looking at him. "nothing much. i just fell while practicing." he calmly explains as he leans his head on your shoulder. "you know you shouldnt overwork yourself right minghao?. how many times do i need to tell you this? please." you told him, seriousness evident in your tone. "im sorry. i just really want to show carats my best side." "well, now you cant can you?" he sighed. "im sorry" he nuzzles his head into the crook of your neck. "its okay. just please listen to me next time." you warn. "i will. now could you please take care of me?" he smiled cheekily. you stood up with your arms stretched forward pulling him together with you. "lets go you big baby. a baby after another." you pushed his back gently towards your shared room. "go and take a bath, ill check on you later." he just nods and proceeds to enter the toilet.

"minghao, babe are you done?" you softly yelled as you poke your head out from your guest room. "yeah i am. ill be done in a bit." moments later, minghao enters the guest room looking tired. he lays beside yeonhee. you walked over beside him and start rubbing circles under his eyes. "go to sleep alright. i need to do some work." you smiled. he just nods and faces the baby. "goodnight my big baby." you place a chaste kiss on his forehead. he couldnt stop the smile from cracking on his lips.
