[y/n's POV]

you were awoken by some shifting movements on the bed. you were confused, who slept with you last night?. you turned to see a familiar face and you couldn't hide the uncontrollable smile spreading on your lips. you then pushed some of his hair aside, running your fingers through his silky hair.

mingyu then shifted slightly and slowly opened his eyes, to see you being really close to him. "surprise and good morning" he whispers. you give him a peck on the forehead and stood up to prepare for breakfast. "where are you going" mingyu pouts as he grabs ahold of your wrist. "i'm going to get ready. i've got 13 children to feed including my sweetheart here" you chuckled. he then just smiles wholeheartedly.

you then made your way to the bathroom and you walked pass the dressing table, not a second later you retreat back to see whats on the dressing table and turn around to see mingyu sheepishly smiling at you. "did you get me this?!" you excitedly say. mingyu just nodded as he pulls the duvet down. "do you.... like it?" he rubs the nape of his neck walking towards you. "of course kim mingyu. in-fact just anything you get me, is something i would cherish." mingyu then wraps his arms around your waist as he sways you side by side. you placing your head on his bare chest, going with his antics.

"come on, we need to get ready." you say as you pull away and got ready for the day. he groaned as you ruined the moment. you playfully slapped his shoulder as you walk away.

"should i wear this or—" you didn't manage to finish your words mingyu threw you a hoodie of his. "that for sure" he chuckled as he made his way towards you and slip the hoodie onto you. "look at this cutie!" he smiled as you blush crimson.

both of you made your way downstairs to see the whole house a mess. you took a deep breath and sighed so loud. "hey, what do you expect. they're boys" mingyu came and slip his arms around your waist. you just shake your head. "you can start on the breakfast first, ill clean up alright?" he adds as he places a kiss on your forehead and proceeds to clean up the console games and left over popcorn and donut crumbs off the floor.

you were busy setting up the table while placing down the american-style breakfast on the dining table when a pair of arms snake around your waist placing a soft kiss on your cheek. "kim mingyu is so clingy today~" you cooed as you continued placing the plates in the table. "i just wanna spend my time with MY girl after lying to her hmm" mingyu says as he rests his head onto the crook of your neck. you ruffle his hair and place a quick peck on his lips. "we need to wake the boys up lets go." you dragged mingyu upstairs.

you both entered your brothers room first as you crawl in-between jeonghan and seungcheol hugging your brother in the process. "wake up, wake up." you poke your brothers cheeks as he proceeds to pull you into a tight hug. mingyu groaned making you and seungcheol burst into a fit of laughter. "lets go, i made you breakfast!" you exclaimed happily. you crawled out of bed as you pull a half-awake jeonghan and fully-awake but still drowsy seungcheol off the bed. "we'll see you later." you shooed your brother and his bandmate away as you proceeded to wake all the other boys up.

all of you then soon gathered downstairs at the main table, everyone looking as funny as ever. you smiled looking at mingyu sheepishly as you thought to yourself, how grateful and blessed you are to have such a wonderful 2nd family. "lets eat!" seungcheol says out loud. you watch as the boys enjoy and gobble down the meal you made. "the meal is really good. thank you y/n!" everyone exclaims. you just smile happily back. "you not eating?" mingyu whispers into your ear sending you shivers. "not really feeling it. i just wanna cuddle" you smile showing your also-canines to mingyu. he just smiles back nodding.

"thank you for the meal y/n." chan and minghao comes to you, gratefully thanking you. "no problem boys. if it isn't a burden for you guys, would you guys help washing the dishes for me?" you asked. "there's no problem to that y/n! we will do it for you. you should just go and rest!" chan says energetically. you laugh and gladly thanked them. you then made your way to the living room to call mingyu up. you walked towards him and snake your arms around his neck. "can we cuddle now?" you pout making mingyu giggle. "alright, lets go" mingyu grabs ahold of your hand walking upstairs when you heard your brother yell "no funny business you two!" you chuckled and nodded.

once you arrived in your room you quickly jumped on the bed. mingyu after closing the door, following suit hugging you and the duvet tightly. "this feels nice" your words muffled by the duvet. mingyu chuckled "what is it?" he then pulled down a bit of the duvet covering you. "i said, this feels nice" you smiled. "yeah it does." mingyu places his head on yours. "say...." mingyu added. you hummed in response. mingyu quickly turned his back towards you lowering his head into the crook of your neck and pulls your arms around him. "i'm feeling clingy today" mingyu pulls your grip around him tighter. you chuckled in amusement "my baby just wants to spoon." and you ruffle his hair placing a soft kiss on his head, slowly putting him to sleep; and thats how your vacation went like.
