The dinner that night was very fun. Tom, the innkeeper, put three tables together in the parlour and the seven Weasleys, Harry, me, and Hermione ate our way through five yummy courses.

"How're we getting to King's Cross tomorrow, Dad?" Fred asked as we ate our pudding. I saw Harry's eyes widened and I realised that he bit his tongue. This set me off laughing.

Clumsy Harry.

"The Ministry's providing a couple of cars," Mr Weasley told us.

Everyone looked up at him. I raised my eyebrow.

"Why?" Percy asked curiously.

"It's because of you, Perce," George said seriously. "And they'll be little flags on the bonnets with HB on them-"

"-for Humungous Bighead," Fred said, grinning.

Everyone except Percy and Mrs Weasley snorted into their pudding. Well, I had to cover my face with my hands because I was on the verge of laughing again.

"Why are the Ministry providing cars, Father?" Percy asked again, in a dignified voice.

"Ohhh, Father. We've suddenly gone all posh now," I mumbled and Harry laughed whilst Hermione scowled at me. I shrugged and giggled.

No one else seemed to have heard me. Bummer.

"Well, as we haven't got one anymore," Mr Weasley said, "and as I work there, they're doing me a favour..."

His voice was casual, but I couldn't help noticing that Mr Weasley's ears had gone red, just like Ron's did when he was under pressure. I guess I know where he gets it from. Then I remembered the reason why the Weasley's don't have a car anymore...I wonder if it's still driving around the Forbidden Forest that surrounds Hogwarts...

"Good job, too," Mrs Weasley said briskly. "Do you realise how much luggage you've all got between you? A nice sight you'd be on the Muggle Underground...You are all packed, aren't you?"

"Ron hasn't put all his new things in his trunk yet," Percy said, in a long-suffering voice. "He's dumped them on my bed"

I laughed. Why does that sound like something I would do?

"You'd better go and pack properly, Ron, because we won't have much time in the morning," Mrs Weasley called down the table, Ron scowled at Percy.

"Have you packed?" Harry whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.

I nod, trying to ignore the butterflies in my stomach.  "Mum made me pack everything. Have you?"

"Been packed for ages."

After dinner, everyone felt very full and sleepy. Especially me. One by one we made our way upstairs to our rooms to check our things for the next day. I was next to Ron and Percy's shared room whilst Harry was next to them.  I had just pulled the covers off my bed when I heard angry voices through the wall. Smirking, I went to see what was going on.

I poked my head through my door to see Harry doing the same. We smirked at one another. The door of number twelve was ajar and Percy was shouting.

"It was here, on the bedside table, I took it off for polishing-"

"I haven't touched it, all right?" Ron roared back.

I shared a look with Harry and together we left our rooms.

"What's up?" Harry asked.

"My Head Boy badge has gone," Percy told us, rounding on us.

"So's Scabbers's Rat Tonic," Ron said, throwing things out of his trunk to look. "I think I might've left it in the bar-"
