                                                                                   At Shadow's house

Sonic: "I wonder what's taking Shadow so long."

*Their was a knock at the door*

Sonic: "That must be Shadow. Wait...why would Shadow knock on the door?

*Sonic hears a familiar 8 year old voice from behind the door, and opens it*

Sonic: "Tails?!"

Tails: "SONIC! WE NEED YOUR HELP!"

Sonic: "Whoa, calm down there. What's going on?"

Tails: "It's Shadow. He's with Eggman, attacking us."

Sonic: "WAIT! Shadow's with EGGMAN!"

Tails: "Yeah, and he already broke Knuckle's arm. We don't know what's gotten into him, but he's definitely gone insane."

Sonic: "Where's Shadow now?"

Tails: "Back at Green Hill, and the rookie is keeping him busy."

Sonic: "Then we need to get over there before anyone else gets hurt."

Tails: "Right."

*Tails and Sonic run back to Green Hill to fix this problem*

                                                                                                Back at Green Hill

*The rookie uses his lightening rope to keep Shadow at bey, but Shadow dodges it a punches the rookie in the stomach*

Rookie: "Oof!"

*The rookie falls to the ground*

Eggman: "HAHAHA, do you really think you can beat Shadow the hedgehog? Think again! After all, you're just a rookie."

*Out of nowhere a blue ball swooshes in and hits Eggman. Then Sonic land in front of the rookie*

Sonic: "He's more than just a rookie! He's a friend, but you wouldn't know that because you don't have any friends!"

Eggman: "GURR SONIC, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN! QUICK SHADOW, THERE'S YOU'RE REAL TARGET!"

*Shadow lounges toward Sonic and tries to throw a punch, but Sonic dodges it, causing Shadow to hit a rock*

Sonic: "Shadow, why are you doing this? I thought you hated Baldy McNosehair."

Eggaman: "HEY!"

*Shadow gets up and uses his chaos spear and it hit Sonic, causing him to fall down*

Sonic: "AGH! PLEASE SHADOW! This isn't you."

*Shadow then skates towards Sonic and put his hand on his head about to use chaos spear to shot Sonic in the head*

Eggman: "Do it Shadow and goodbye forever Sonic the hedgehog! HAHAHAHA!"

Sonic: "Please Shadow, I love you."

*Sonic pulls Shadow by the chest fur and kisses him on the mouth. Shadow eyes widened and faints on top of Sonic, causing the mind control device to fall out his ear. Tails notices the device fall to the ground, so he goes to pick it up*

Sonic: "Shadow? Are you okay?"

*Shadow starts to wake up and looks at Sonic*

Shadow: "Sonic, I'm so sorry."
