Chapter 3: Page 19

*Sonic finally arrived back to his house. He had tears running down his face, but he went inside not caring if anyone saw like that*

Sonic: "Sonikku! Takara!"

*Takara is seen coming down stairs with a nervous expression. Once she comes up close to Sonic she could see his tears. Her nervous expression turns into a curious look*

Takara: "Sonic, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Sonic: "Shadows' in the hospital. He was shot in the heart. The doctors say he wouldn't make it and he's gonna die."

Takara: (A surprised look) "Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. (Sad look) Poor Shadow. I can't believe he's dying."

Sonic: "It's too much for my heart to take. I love him so much. I wasn't able to save him in time. I was...too slow."

Takara: (Puts her hand on Sonic's shoulder) "I'm sure it's not your fault. You did everything you can. It was probably beyond your control."

Sonic: "Nothing is beyond my control. I should be able to save people and protect them. I'm the greatest super hero of all time."

Takara: "Sonic, I may not know anything about being a hero, but I know one thing's for sure, that even heros can't always be there. Even when they try. Just because you're a hero doesn't mean you're invisible. There's always gonna be something beyond anyone's control. Even for heros. So you failed at saving Shadow. I'm sure he forgives you. The most important thing is that you tried and trying says more than actually doing it."

Sonic: (Wipes his tears) "Maybe you're right. I may have failed, but I tried and that still makes me a hero."

Takara: "That's right. You're still a hero, Sonic. Everyone believes in you. I believe in you. Even Shadow believes in you. Doesn't that say a lot?"

Sonic: "Yes, it actually does. Thank you."

Takara: "Anytime..."

Sonic: "Anyway, where's Sonikku?"

*Takara's expression turned nervous again. She was sweating bullets and couldn't really speak. Sonic notices her emotion and starts to get worried. He grabs both of Takara's shoulders and looks her straight in the eyes*

Sonic: "Takara, where's Sonikku? You didn't let her out, did you?"

Takara: "I'm...sorry. I'm so, so sorry. She went outside, I don't know where she went."

Sonic: She must have went to go fight Scourge. God danmmit, I told her to stay home with you. Go over to the hospital and keep Shadow company for me. I'm going over to find Sonikku."

Takara: " Are you sure you'll be okay?"

Sonic: "I'll be fine. Just do as I say."

Takara: "Okay."

*With that, Sonic and Takara turns out the house. They both run in opposite directions. Meanwhile Sonikku had made it over to Eggman's base where Eggman and Scourge are. She rams the door using spin dash and runs towards the main room. Once she got there, she could see Silver, Rouge, and Blaze all in seperate tubes. Sonikku walks up to the Silver's tube and knocks on it. Silver wakes up. Once he was completed conscious, he was suprised to see Sonikku*

Silver: "Sonikku?! What are you doing here?!"

Sonikku: "I'm here to rescue all of you guys. Don't worry, you'll be out of here in a second."

Silver: "Sonikku, it's not safe here. You need to leave while you still can."

Sonikku: "I'm not leaving you guys. You guys are coming with me."

Scourge: "Well well well, look who we have here."

*Sonikku turns around to see Scourge and Eggman. Sonikku goes into fight mode and runs up toward Scourge with her fist up. Scourge catches her fist*

Scourge: "Ha, ha, ha, do you really think you can fight me? You really are stupid little girl."

*Scourge lefta up Sonikku by her hand off the ground and slams her on the ground. As Sonikku tries to get up, Scourge puts his foot on her back preventing her from doing so*

Scourge: "Look at you, you're weak. You think you have a chance against me, but you don't. You're so pathetic its impossible to believe that you're Shadow The Hedgehog's daughter."

Sonikku: "I'm not weak! I'm gonna defeat you, Scourge. One way, or the other."

Socurge: "Pathetic!"

*Scourge then picks her up by her arm again and looks her straight in the eyes*

Scourge: "You're just a little pathetic girl. You're nothing more than just a weakling. You're gonna die trying g to defeat me."

*Sonikku take her chance and she punches Scourge in the face with her free hand. Scourge drops her and grabs his face. Sonikku comes up to Scourge and kicks him in the shin causing him to fall in his hands and knees*

Sonikku: "Hows the weakling now?"

Scourge (Looks at Sonikku in anger) "You're gonna pay for that you bitch."
