*Amy and the Rookie were sitting on the couch playing some video games. They were playing Sonic Forces*

Rookie: "I don't know about you, but how did you come from liking Sonic Unleashed to Sonic Forces?"

Amy: "Well, I'm in love with you now and Sonic Forces is like the only game with you in it."

Rookie: "You are too kind."

*The couple played for hours. They took turns playing each level of the game, but then something came up in Amy's head*

Amy: "Hey rookie?"

Rookie: "Yes, Amy?"

Amy: "Pages long ago, you said: that you always wanted a child, but was afraid of not being able to have one. That made me wonder about your life before you met all of us."

Rookie: "I had a feeling that one day you would ask that. It all started back up I was a little wolf cub. My father left my mother when I was born, so that left my mother alone with me. You can say: I was quite the handful, but my mother was able to manage. I always wonder how she did it. One day she came down with a very bad illness. She couldn't do anything around the house, so I took it upon myself to take care of her and take her place for now. She was very sick, and I was getting worried. I called the doctor and when he came, he had told me that my mother had lung cancer."

Amy: "Oh no, that's so sad."

Rookie: "I was just a child and I didn't understand, until the doctor had to take her in the hospital. I would visit her everyday. Days passed and she was slowly getting better. The cancer was slowly going away. That's what I thought. One day the doctor had told me that my mother wasn't going to make it. They tried everything they can to keep her stable, but it was all in vain."

Amy: "What happened to her?"

Rookie: "I was beginning to lose my hopes when I man I never seen before came to the hospital to talk to my mother. It was my father. My mother told me not to trust him. My father seemed nice. He would take me to his place and take care of me. I also remembered the doctor told me there was a way to save my mom, but I couldn't pay for the treatment. I asked my father if he could do it, but he said he doesn't have enough money for it. One day I had to say goodbye to my mother. Before she died she told me."

Rookie's mother: "When you grow up, I want you to be a good father. Be the father that your own couldn't be. I love you so much and am grateful to have a son like you."

Little rookie: "I love you too, mom. I always will."

Rookie: "And that was it. She died holding my hand. I left the room and was told by my father that he couldn't care for me anymore. It turns out he had the money to pay for my mom's treatment, but he pretended to be nice to me and let my mom died for money because my mother had been saving a lot of money."

Amy: "WHAT I JERK!"

Rookie: "So, I was sent to a foster home. The kids were very cruel and would bully me everyday living there. I was like a toy to them. The staff did nothing to stop the bullying. I was always a annoyance to everyone. I remember one of the kids telling me I would never find love or have kids which gave me the thought they were right. I couldn't deal with it, so I ran away for good."

Amy: "Oh my gosh, I never knew you had it so hard."

Rookie: "It's okay. It's all in the past. Enough about me, we should worry about our child."

Amy: "Okay then.

*Rookie and Amy put away the game and started preparing for there new child. They went to this empty room that Rookie had for the new nursery. Rookie already bought the stuff*

Amy: "I can't wait for this baby to be here."

Rookie: "Me too. My dreams come true."

*Rookie started painting the room a light blue color, Amy is fixing up the crib and rocking chair. On the wall, Rookie also put a rainbow design with a sun that had a face*

Rookie: "We don't know what the baby's gender is yet. So this design should be perfect for both boy and girl."

Amy: "Your right. That looks good. Your a good painter."

Rookie: "My mother taught me, her job was being an artist."

Amy: "Oh. Well, your mother must have been very good, if her son is painting like an artist."

Rookie: "Thanks Amy. You know, my mother would have liked you."

Amy: "She would?"

Rookie: "Yeah, your sweet, kind, caring, your pink. Her favorite color was pink."

Amy: "Cool, I would have liked your mother then."

Rookie: "Thanks."

*As the soon to be parents setup Amy had something on her mind*

Amy: "Hey, Rookie?"

Rookie: "Yes?"

Amy: "Is your dad still alive?"

Rookie: "Yeah, he is. I've crossed paths with him, but I try to pretend he's not there. I don't ever want to see or hear from him. My mom could still be here, if he wasn't so selfish."

Amy: "I can already see that you'll never forgive him."

Rookie: "FORGIVE HIM! HE LEFT MY MOTHER AND I HAD TO GO TO A FOSTER HOME! MY LIFE WAS A MESS AT AN EARLY AGE BECAUSE OF THAT JERK!"

Amy: "Okay Rookie, calm down."

Rookie: "Oh sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you like that."

Amy: "It's OK. I understand your angry, but he is your father."

Rookie: "I know."

Amy: "Now, let's get back to work and then we could watch a romantic movie together."

Rookie: "Sounds great."
