                                                                                At Eggman's Base

*Knuckles made it to Eggman's base. He punches the door open and runs towards the control room*

Knuckles: "EGGMAN! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

?????: "Hehehehehe."

Knuckles: "Huh?"

*Knuckles looks behind him to see a shadow like figure*

Knuckles: "Who are you?! Show your self!"

Shadow Figure: "..."

Knuckles: "Hey are you hearing me?! I told you to show yourself!"

Shadow Figure: "..."

Knuckles: "A*SHOLE! DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE!"

Shadow Figure: "..."

Knuckles: "THAT'S IT!"

*Knuckles charges a punch at the shadow figure, but the figure dodges and punches Knuckles in the head causing him to slam in the wall*

Knuckles: "AGH! What the hell!"

Shadow Figure: "So stupid. The strongest echidna getting his a*s kicked."

Knuckles: "Who are you?"

Shadow Figure: "You should know who I am."

*The shadow figure reveals himself*

Knuckles: "No. You're suppose to be dead!"

                                                                                     Back with the rookie

*Amy was on the couch laying down with a blanket over her and the rookie was in the kitchen making soup for her*

Amy: "I hope Knuckles is OK."

Rookie: "I'm sure he's fine, Amy. He is the strongest echidna we got."

Amy: "Yeah, but I'm just scared. With Scourge back I don't know the worst that's yet to come."

*Rookie comes in with the soup*

Rookie: "Well, I hear you. But we should stop worrying about Scourge and worry about what's important. Your health."

Amy: "Okay."

*Rookie gives Amy the soup*

Amy: *sniff sniff* "Mmm, what kind of soup is this?"

Rookie: "It's chicken noodle soup with a secret formula."

Amy: "What's the secret?"

Rookie: "I'm not telling, it's a secret."

Amy: "Oh come on, not even a hint?"

Rookie: "Nope."

Amy: "You're no fun."

Rookie: "Heh, now eat your soup. We need to take care of your health."

Amy: "Thank you Rookie."

Rookie: "Anytime, Amy."

*Rookie gives Amy a kiss on her cheek and walks to his room to do some work*

                                                                            5 minutes later

*Rookie walks to the living to check on Amy, but she was gone*

Rookie: "Amy, Amy! Where are you?!"
