*It was the next morning and Sonic, Rouge and Sonikku were all outside the house saying goodbye to Shadow because he was off to G.U.N HQ to finish off Scourge*

Rouge: "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you and help."

Shadow: "Thanks for the offer, but I want to do this on my own. I don't want a friend getting hurt or killed because Scourge wants his revenge on me."

Rouge: "I understand."

*Rouge gives Shadow the gun she had when she almost shot Scourge last night. Sonic who was holding Sonikku's hand had a concern look on his face*

Sonic: "Be safe Shadow and come home alive."

Shadow: "Don't worry, I will."

*Shadow gives Sonic a gentle smile to ease his concern. Sonikku walks up to Shadow*

Sonikku: "I'm going to miss you, Daddy."

*Shadow lifts Sonikku up in the air*

Shadow: "Don't worry big girl, the bad hedgehog won't keep me down."

*Shadow put Sonikku down, turns around and skates away as fast a bolt*

Sonic: "I sure hope he makes it"

Rouge: "Oh daring, you worry too much."

Sonikku: "Hey Rouge."

Rouge: "Yes?"

Sonikku: "Do you think Daddy will be back?"

Rouge: "Don't you worry. If I know your father, I know he would not fail at his mission, and even if he does he won't stop until he competes it successfully."

Sonic: "But Rouge, you or Shadow doesn't know Scourge like I do."

Rouge: "What do you mean?"

Sonic: "I mean, Scourge is not just a green hedgehog. He's me from another dimension."

Rouge: "What?!"

Sonic: "Yes, a few years ago long before Shadow and me got together Eggman was trying to do an experiment and bring a dangerous monster from another dimension. But his experiment went wrong and ended up bring Scourge who is the opposite of me from another dimension. Ever since Scourge came to our dimension he did nothing but cause chaos and panic to people. I was able to defeat him without knowing that he developed deep feelings for me. And when I was pregnant with Sonikku, he tried to get rid of her before she was born, but Shadow, Knuckles, Amy and the rookie was able to rescue me before it happened."

Rouge: "Oh my, that must have been quite the battle for you guys."

Sonic: "It was, but now Scourge is trying to kill Shadow. And I'm afraid that he might come to hurt Sonikku."

Sonikku: "Me? But why?"

Sonic: "Because he's a bad hedgehog who likes to hurt people for no reason."

Sonikku: "Oh."

Rouge: "Well Sonic, you shouldn't have to worry about Scourge."

Sonic: "I know, but now I'm more worried about Shadow. He's going to be fighting a dangerous being from another dimension and I feel like I'm the blame for not helping."

Rouge: "Sonic, calm down you're not the blame. If anything it's Eggman's fault for bringing him here."

Sonic: *sighs* "I guess you're right."

*Sonikku taps Rouge on the leg*

Sonikku: "Rouge, shouldn't we be looking for gems right now?"

Rouge: "Oh, that's right. Sonic sweet, is it okay if me and you're daughter go look for some gems? I promise I won't let anything happen to her."
