Lance's POV

"LANCE!" Shiro screamed at me as I missed my shot, causing Keith to lose his balance and get hit by the robot.

I look down as I keep reminding myself that I'm useless and always f up everything as Allura and Shiro yell at me. I felt Keith glare at me and just wanted to run out the room and kill myself.

"LANCE ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" Allura snapped. My head shot up and I apologize shaking my head. Allura, Keith and Shiro glare at me while Pidge and Hunk watched. Coran wasn't here at the moment, if he was I probably would feel better.

"Geez. Can you focus at all? Stop flirting and making stupid jokes and maybe then you'll be able to focus." Keith fired at me and rolled his eyes, leaving the training room.

"Keith is right. You should stop making jokes and flirting. Step up your game Lance." Shiro said agreeing with Keith while Allura nodded, leaving the room as well.

"Your jokes and flirting is annoying Lance. Can't you be quiet for once?" Pidge left with them after saying that. Hunk looked at the ground and left.

This left me alone in the training room. Thinking about everything they said. I know, I should just shut up. Maybe this will help everyone.

I slowly walked out the training room and into my room. I changed out of my armor, took a quick shower and put on my dark green jacket over my while shirt and blue jeans. I put on my shoes and sat on my bed, think the entire time, 'I should start shutting up. Train more. Be more focused.' until I heard a knock on my door.

"Lance. We're having dinner right now." Hunk says and I hear footsteps walking away. I sigh and get up, not really feeling up to it but realizes they'll yell at me if I mess up again and say I'm hungry because of that mess up.

I walk towards the dining room and when I walk in, I hear Pidge and Hunk laughing and Shiro and Allura talking about plans. Coran notices me walking in and he gives a concerned glance and is about to confront me when I give him a fake reassuring smile.

This convinced him and then I sit down to eat, trying not to make any jokes with Hunk, or fight with Keith or flirt with Allura. At the end of dinner, everyone smiled and left.

As they left, I heard them say how I was finally quiet. How they know that I'll be loud again and they became frustrated.

It's sad isn't it, how I'm trying to change but don't think I can. Well time for bed. I can continue not being myself tomorrow. Almost time for bed and guess what? The galra decide to attack. I switched into my armor as quick as possible, running into my lions hanger and we head out, attacking as much fighter ships.

We start hitting the warships(btw did I tell you there's FREAKING 10 OF THEM?!). We couldn't form Voltron cause the canons always fires right after one another.

And surprise surprise one of them hits Blue. "Lance! There's a-" Keith gets cut off with the beam hitting the side of my lion and the blinding light shines from the front. I fell unconscious and my last thought was 'Cant even help. So freaking useless!'

~time skip~

I feel my eyes snap open but couldn't see anything and feel myself fall forward. I feel someone catch me and that scared the shit out of me so I did the most logical thing, push them away. That made me land on my butt.

"Why can't I see?" After a while no one answers and I hear some sniffles.

"WHY CAN'T I SEE?!" I yelled, as I felt tears slide down my face.

"I'm sorry my boy. The healing pod couldn't heal your eyes." Coran as softly as he can answered my question. I heard louder sniffles. And then felt arms around me. No one joined. I just heard some sniffles.

"Great now he's even more useless." Keith's voice rang out, even though he lowered his voice.

I heard a slap. "W-WHAT THE HELL-L KEITH?!" Pidge screamed at Keith, her voice was cracking as I realized she was crying.

I pushed whoever was hugging me away and felt around me as I tried to get up. Once I did, I started laughing.

"Hehehe. Hehehe. You're right Keith. I am now MORE useless. And you know what. Everything you guys say was, no is right. I should have been more focused, more stronger, stop making stupid jokes, stop flirting. Well I did what you said at dinner. Everyone was happy. And then you guys said that you'll have to deal with a annoying Lance tomorrow. Well guess what?! I was actually gonna change. But now I don't have to. And you wanna know why I'm finally happy? I WANT TO BE BLIND! SO I DON'T HAVE TO SEE ALL THE GLARES AND DISAPPOINTING GLANCES YOU GUYS GOVE ME! I WISH THAT BLAST ALSO MADE ME DEAF, SO I WONT HAVE TO HEAR YOUR FUCKING REMAKS ABOUT HOW MUCH I SUCK! BUT EVEN BETTER I WISH I COULD HAVE DIED SO YOU GUYS WONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH A FUCKING SCREW UP LIKE ME!" I yelled, finally finished with what I always wanted to say.

I heard heavy footsteps running up to me and a punch connected with my face. As I fell to the floor, more footsteps ran up to me and my attacker didn't hit me.

"Keith! Stop!" Shiro yelled, he is close. Probably holding Keith back so he didn't hit me anymore.

"NO! WHAT THE FUCK LANCE?! THEN WHY THE HELL WERE YOU SO WEAK HUH?! ITS NOT OUR FAULT ITS YOURS! YOUR THE WEAK ONE, ALL WE CAN DO IS PUSH YOU! To make you stronger. Make you a better fighter so you didn't DIE OUT THERE! WE ARE FIGHTING A FUCKING WAR LANCE! SOMEONE CAN DIE BECAUSE  OF ONE LITTLE MISTAKE!" Keith raged.

"You-stop lying..." I said not wanting to believe him. They already made me believe that I'm useless and nothing will change that, ever.
