3rd POV

As team Voltron went into the main galra ship, they split up. Pidge going to find information with Hunk and Shiro to protect her, while Keith and Lance stays behind to defend the lions in case something happens and they needed to get out of there.

What they didn't know was that Hagger was watching them from her room, getting ready a powerful spell to attack a paladin.

Once Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro left, the witch's spell was close to ready. 'Attacking one of the strongest paladins would surely weaken Voltron.' She smiled evilly and crackled.

Lance's POV

I stared at the purplish door while leaning on Blue's force field. Keith, standing strong, bayard activated, not letting his guard down any time.

I rolled my eyes, annoyed with him although he didn't even do anything to me. Yet. I activated my bayard and continued to lean on Blue's forcefield.

I didn't know what had happened but I closed my eyes for a few minutes and I heard Keith screaming.

I open my eyes to see black mist everywhere and Keith nowhere in sight but I could hear him screaming on my left.

I pointed my gun towards where Keith was screaming and I walked closer to see Keith wildly swing his sword around him.

"Keith! Where's the enemy?" I yelled at him, trying to not get hit by his sword.

"SHUT UP! I've had it with your damn stupid game! Agh!" Keith didn't even look at me and was still swinging his sword.

I lowered my gun and then felt someone's hand grab the back of my armor, dragging me out of the mist. I turn to see Hagger with a wicked smile and a ball of energy in her other hand.

I was about to shoot her, my bayard already up but she shot the ball of energy into my stomach, which made me fly back into the mist, slamming into Keith.

Luckily I shot my gun and I heard Hagger scream out in pain. Keith pushed me off and then started to swing his sword around and yelling again.

The black mist slowly started to dissolve and Keith's screaming and sword swinging slowly came to a stop. I felt pain on my stomach and groaned, laying on the ground.

Keith looked around, confused and then saw me. My stomach pain somehow got to my head cause when Keith started yelling, I got a huge headache.

"Lance! What's that purple stuff on your stomach?!" Keith ran over to me and cradled me in his arms while I did nothing, just staring into space.

'You know... it would be great if I just... died right here and right now.' As I finished that thought, on my arms, some of my wounds opened up.

I winced in pain, thinking it was just the ones recently made and made a reminder to bandage it up properly when we got back to the castle.

Keith gently laid me back on the floor and grabbed his bayard.

"Guys hurry up! I think Lance got hurt we gotta go!" Keith whisper-yelled into his helmet.

"We'll get the other information later! If galra storm this place, I won't be able to defend Lance and the lions while fighting the galra! HURRY UP!!" Keith yelled the last part, showing that he didn't want to be argued with.

"Thank you," Keith said after a while.

After a few moments of silence, Keith lowered his sword and footsteps approached. I closed my eyes as the doors were slammed opened and footsteps rushed towards me.
