Chapter nine

Riker's POV

"What do you mean 'Madison is gone'!?" I ask anger rising in me. I look at Lucy who is already pulling her clothes on.

"Look it was not my fault!" he exclaims

"Oh really Ross? I left you in charge of my kid and because of you I have lost her again! I swear to God if I can't find her then I am going to KILL YOU!" I say my voice rising at the end before hanging up the phone.

"W-what are you doing Lucy?" I ask confused.

"You have lost your daughter and so help me I am going to help you get her back" she states plainly before she leaves the room.

I am definetly in love with that girl...

Lucy and I arrive at the house and rush in. I see Ross in the livingroom making out with his girlfriend Demi.

"You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME ROSS SHOR LYNCH!" I yell. The pair break apart.

"We were kind of in the middle of something" Demi whines. I completely lose it. I pull Ross up by the collar and shake him. Hard.

"My daughter is missing and you are too busy making out to try and find her?!" I scream. I reach my hand back but I feel someone grab hold of me. I look and see Lucy holding my arm.

"Don't. He's not worth it. We need to find Madison." She whispers in my ear. I let go of him and we walk to her room.

The glass was broken... Her belongings were strune across the carpet and the small locket that she got to go with the key necklace that I wore was in the middle of the room. I close the door and slide down it. The tears start to fall from my eyes. I've lost her.

I've lost my baby...

Again...

Lucy's POV

I stare at the helpless man before me. He really cares about her... I think. I move closer to him and cup his face in my hands. 

"We'll find her. I know we will" I say softly as I wipe away his tears. I look deeply into his eyes. I didn't even realise that I was leaning in until our lips brushed. He closed the gap and our lips started to move in sync with each other. It didn't last long but it was long enough. 

Could this be love?
