Lucy's POV ~two weeks later~
I was at the park with Riker and the two girls. We actually started dating a couple of days ago. That makes the 'job' I have to do so much harder. I think that Riker is becoming suspicious of me...
Riker's POV
Something is up with Lucy... She seems tense. It has been ever since we found Maddy.
"Lucy you okay?" I ask placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah. I'm fine" she replies quickly.
"Is there something you need to tell me?"
"Yes"
Lucy's POV
I quickly scan round and see Robert standing not to far away. I take Riker's hand.
"You remember how when you lost Maddy I was able to take you to the place she was being held?"
"Yeah. How did you know she was there?" I move closer to him and wrap my arms around him.
"I'm so sorry Riker. Someone wants you dead."
"How do you know?" He asks the fear evident in his voice.
"They sent me to do it" I whisper. I take hold of the dagger and pierce his side but not in a way that would actually kill him.
"Trust me" I whisper.
"How!? you have been sent to kill me Lucy! I trusted you!" He yells.
"Listen to me. You are going to act like this has killed you. I will take you to a place I know and hide you there." I say forcefully in his ear. He looks at me and nods before going limp. I then call Rydel to look after the girls before driving away with Riker.
