Welcome back to another one. Lets jump right into the thick of it.

It is still freshmen year but instead it was my English 1 class. It was one of the first classes I took during the day and the teacher was Ms. Graham. She was a very lax teacher. She wasn't very uptight about much of anything. She had a passion to teach and loved Shakespeare. She was also the high school softball coach and loved every bit of it.

I walked in and introduced myself to her. She said that we could just sit anywhere so again my instinct was to find somewhere that was secluded so I wouldn't have to worry about people judging me. Sadly there were no secluded seats so I sat on the left side of the classroom with a few other People.

As I was doing my work I looked up and saw someone who caught my eye. She was sitting at the back of one of the two rows in the middle of the class. She had glasses and short brown hair. There was something about her that just caught my attention. I saw something in her that no one else could see and I can't quite explain it. She just had this positive energy about her, even though I would come to find out how incredibly salty she can be sometimes.

So I went over and introduced myself to her.

"Hi, my name's Allen, what's yours?"

"Hi there, I'm Acacia,"

As I mentioned before I like to sing a lot but normally to myself, she overheard me one day and said that I should join choir. She said that I had a great voice. I thanked her but was still to scared to even consider joining choir. But she, along with many others would push me to audition for choir. But we will get to that soon enough.

Acacia was so positive all the time that it took some of the darkness out of my life. She helped me with a lot of the stuff that I was dealing with at the time. She was there for me whenever I needed it the most.  She believed in my ability to sing when I didn't think I had it in me to join a choir. She pushes me so that I can be my best. She is strong independent and has overcome much adversity in her life.

I am so proud of who you are Acacia. You taught me to believe that I was good enough and do the things that make me happy. You gave me confidence. Don't ever change who you are. You are fantastic and always will be. You gave me hope when I was down and I will be forever grateful for you. I can't wait to see how you are going to take the world by storm. You are going far and I'm glad I got to see you grow into the amazing individual that you are.
