Welcome back to another Chapter. This one is another one about a person that I met and how they have impacted my life. So lets begin.
It was still freshmen year and it was more towards the beginning of the year. At the start of every year my school has this process that they use to make the first few days go as smooth as possible. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. You see, they hand you your schedule and you have a class called homeroom. You only go to homeroom a few times throughout the whole school year but they do this to show new students how the school works and gives them a chance to learn where there classes are. So I grab my schedule and I head toward my homeroom. I get there, greet the teacher, and take a seat. As I was sitting down I was looking around the room to see if there was anyone that I already knew. There was Sarah, but that was about it. And then she walked in...
She had golden hair, blue eyes, and an incredible smile. She came over and sat with Sarah and me. I introduced myself because I figured I might as well try and make some new friends. So I introduced myself to her.
"Hi my name is Allen, nice to meet you."
"Hello my name is Shelby, its a pleasure."
She was fantastic in every way. She had a beautiful and gentle soul. She just gave this positive presence, and gave me hope. She would become a great friend and lift me out of the darkness. She was kind, sweet, understanding, and would listen to me whenever I needed someone to talk to. She brought more positive moments for me when I had started to give up. Every time she smiled, no matter how dark the day was, no matter how cruel the world had been... she could make it brighter. You are fantastic Shelby, you have grown much over these years. You will go far and you will make the world a better place. I believe in you and you are going to take the world by storm. Thank you for helping me when I needed it the most. You have kept my head on straight and inspired me to keep pushing forward. You have supported me through thick and thin and you never once gave up on me. I am proud of who you are Shelby, never change that. Never forget the times we laughed, and always remember the better days, not the ones where I was a mess.
This is the end of Chapter 19, See you in the next one.
